March 11, 20197 yr comment_174257 Saw an article on Yahoo that Eddie Goldman has restructured his deal to free op cap space. Goldman Restructures Report

March 12, 20197 yr comment_174271 Bears restructured Mack's contract to free up more space. Seems like they are going after Bell or Thomas. Report
March 12, 20197 yr comment_174276 certainly is interesting how much restructuring has happened this offseason. Usually means they are clearing space to make one or two splashes in FA. Given how shallow our puddle is it won't likely be a huge splash even with the restructures. Report
March 12, 20197 yr comment_174283 We are finally a desirable landing spot... I'm really curious how this will play out! Report
March 12, 20197 yr Author comment_174284 I think they get HaHa Clinton Dixs/ SS, Cordell Patterson/WR and Marcus Golden/OLB. None big contracts but will need the money to get all 3. Report

March 13, 20197 yr comment_174290 Patterson is a great pick up. He was a good returner for NE but i don't think they used him to his full potential as a WR. Should be fun to watch and he is a big tough football player. Report
March 13, 20197 yr Author comment_174301 I agree, he's a #1KR, #4 RB, and 5th WR that fills 3 spots. I thinks that is a huge signing. Report
March 15, 20197 yr comment_174330 Haven’t heard Or seen anything about Bryce. After a flurry of signings and trades he’s still unsigned. Wonder if his market isn’t as big as he thought it’d be. Wonder if there’s a chance we still resign him? Not sure where we are cap wise.though. Can’t be much left. Report
March 15, 20197 yr Author comment_174331 I think the next signing is a edge rusher, then if Callahan asking price drops, he may be back. Report
March 15, 20197 yr comment_174334 Justin Houston's still out there, as is Ziggy Ansah, Shane Ray, Mathews A little surprised we haven't shown interest in Gostkowski with our need at Kicker Report

He’d be a great situational/rotational player. I think he has enough in the tank that he could significantly contribute. And I can’t imagine he’d be too awfully expensive. And I just read this; played college ball at Georgia. Could talk Bulldog ball with Floyd and Smith. Gostowski would certainly be a great option. Something tells me he’d be pricey though. Bears are probably starting to run low on extra scratch. Report
March 16, 20196 yr Author comment_174337 We signed a little known WR Marvin Hall, he will be grooved to replace Gabriel, he has 4.28 speed. Report
March 16, 20196 yr comment_174339 Gostowski could be a bit pricy, but if we could fit him in it would be worth it. Fixing our kicker situation is arguably our biggest need. I don’t exactly have high hopes for jones or blewit Report
March 17, 20196 yr comment_174344 It seems to me the Packers paid a lot of money to several average players in FA, and I include Amos in that assessment as well. Report
March 17, 20196 yr Author comment_174345 That's what happens when you try to catch up to the division leaders. Report
March 17, 20196 yr comment_174354 I assume we want to bring in a veteran FA to support OLB. If I'm correct it's telling that the Bears have been quiet about re-signing Aaron Lynch. He played decently last year but clearly Pace is scanning the OLB FA market before making his decision. Report
