No reason Monangai shouldn't be given an opportunity. They have to change something this half. One dimensional football against this defense is sub-optimal.

Honestly, neither of these defenses have blitzed a lot. I expect that to change, especially from MIN in the 2nd half to generate something. 

Feels like a game where the first team to force a takeaway or have an explosive score might win. Bears missed a lot of opportunities in that half, including poor clock management by Johnson to take a timeout so early, to give MIN enough time to get in position for a FG.

So after the first half Williams not looking all that much like a “generational” player, that is unless you count the plays he made while out the pocket and scrambling.  (Where have we seen that before?).  After the scripted plays for the first several plays of the half, Caleb looked a little lost.  As Troy pointed out numerous times missed  a handful of big play opportunities because he didn’t read past the first option.  Remind me again how he’s better than the previous two 1st round picks?  😘 😎

Need better run game and a few more downfield shots.  D is solid.  Caleb has been steady.

Either our WRs and TEs are atrocious at getting open…

Wright practiced against Jefferson evey day, happy to see him get his glory after the PI penalty.

Claimed him from minny practice squad. Poles hasn't gave any picks away since draft. 

God, they needed that pick 6 in the worst way. If the offense can stop sucking and get it together for at least one more TD drive, that should do it.

Defense- check

All I care about is winning , style points will come. Viking won 14 games last year.

The offense needs to put a couple of good series together.  I'm not inspired with it yet.

Swift is indecisive and should be shining with this new investment in oline. They should have traded for Bigsby.

Monangai struggles in picking up the blitz.

Swift had two runs in that series that he pounded for first downs.

Bears are about to implode. Just inexcusable to go from 1st and 10 on the 24 to come away with zero points, even if the penalty was bullshit. 

Cairo Santos is horrible. MIN's kicker confidently makes a 59 yarder with ease while Santos misses a 50 yarder horrible and damn near missed an XP in the same game. Time for a new kicker.

This is the time for Caleb and the Bears to shine.  We have all these weapons and seem to stall.  Bring out the high-octane rocket fuel 

So far Johnson’s hardball approach is giving us undisciplined play:  10 penalties for 108 yards. That’s 1 more yard than they have in total rushing yards (107).  

Caleb WIlliams kind of sucks, doesn't he? It's getting harder to ignore how bad he is.

He has this season to show he's generational as advertised.  No more excuses after Thuney, Dalman, Jackson, Loveland, Burden and HC Johnson.
