adam Posted yesterday at 01:47 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 01:47 PM The Bears just won back-to-back on the road, and 3 in a row. The schedule lightens up a little bit over the next month, but they cannot overlook the Saints on a short week. The Saints are 0-5 when they allow 20+ points and 1-0 when they allow 19 or less. They themselves only have one game where they scored more than 21 and that happened to be the only game their defense held their opponent under 20 (lol). That also happened to be the game where the Giants had 5 turnovers. So as long as the Bears don't have a crazy sloppy game like that, they should win by double digits. The Bears can't lose to a 1-5 team like the Saints at home, they just can't. I think this is one is going to be one of their better games all-around, especially with the running game coming to life. The Saints are worse on the road, allowing 31 and 44, and I think the Bears extend that trend with a 31-17 convincing win on Sunday.
Stinger226
There are no easy wins in the NFL, anyone can beat anyone. As long as this team stays focused we should have a good run the next 5 games. Should not lose at home. period
Bears4Ever_34
I would be very curious to know what percentage of teams that have won 4 games in a row at some point during their season go on to make the playoffs? We know starting 4-0 correlates to about an 83% chance. My guess is that it's maybe slightly lower than that, but probably not by much. Bears really need to stretch this thing to 4 with a win against the Saints this week. I have pretty good feelings about the this matchup. I know the Saints have looked better than their record so far, but you have to figure Dennis Allen wants to get his revenge, and you know Caleb will be fired up to go against Rattler. This could be their best game of the season. If there were ever a time to pad those offensive stats, it would be now.

Mongo3451
Something I forgot to say on the week 6 thread. Johnson not only replaced Braxton Jones, he sent a loud and clear message to Darnell Wright by doing so. (And anyone else on the team, for that matter) We don't care. We will replace you with a UDFA if you don't do your job. We don't Fn care and I love it.

Wright is already starting to think about his next contract so that motivation will carry into this offseason.

And more than rah rah and feelings, or tough statements in press conferences, THIS is what creating a culture means - its all about accountability.
