Alaskan Grizzly
Went to the NFC North crap talking site I visit periodically. GB fan posted this as if to suggest should they lose, this is why. Lol.
Stinger226
Here is the most entertaining preview of the game you will see. I'm watching Gurden but kept thinking that's Mongo previewing the game.
Alaskan Grizzly
Odunze still out with a nagging foot injury. https://chicago.suntimes.com/bears/2025/12/04/bears-injury-report-kyle-monangai-rome-odunze-nfl-ankle-foot-nfl
Bears4Ever_34
Odunze's absence should matter more than it does. He hasn't had a good year. Ironically, they may miss him more in the run game than pass game. Either way, not ideal. Moore and Burden have to step up. It's an injury that's probably not going to go away until the off-season. I suspect we won't see him until the rematch a couple weeks from now. Same with Stevenson. Edmunds comes off IR by then, too. That might be the game when they get all their horses back for the playoff run. Fingers crossed everyone can stay healthy until then. There have been a few bad drops, and some missed throws from Caleb, but he's 9th in the NFL in receptions over 20 yards and 15th in 1st down receptions. That's not a bad place to be for a 2nd year receiver in a new offense. There were a lot of growing pains with the offense in the first 4-5 weeks and there still are things to work out. His big play ability is something defenses must account for.
Stinger226
I think this could not have a big effect on the game. Rome is only catching 50% of his targets. I think Caleb looks for him sometimes when other people are open. Mentally I think it allows Caleb to focus on the progression. We have 3 Wrs capable of big plays plus, 2 TEs and 2 RBs give us plenty of targets. We also may see J Walker that was impressive in the preseason. Stinger226 Posted yesterday at 02:16 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 02:16 AM I've been watching a lot of Packers podcasts. OMG they are not getting it. One guy makes out they have more talented WRs with Rome being out. Golden hasn't did anything this year. They think Jayden Reid will be back which doesn't look likely. With Wyatt out ( good player) , they are claiming a waiver wire addition with have no problem with Dalman and Jackson. What drugs do they grow in Wisconsin that I'm unaware of? They're predicting high scoring games in the cold. It's going to be a similar game like the Eagles game. BJ is 5-1 against the Packers while OC in Detroit. I think he out coaches LeFuer as usual. Eagles were the least TO team in football until we got 2 TOs, now if falls on the Packers with that honor. The Packers have 2 inexperienced OL at C and RG and I see Jarrett and DAs stunts creating havoc with pressures.

Does anyone know how long he’s been playing with the stress fracture in his foot?

AZ54 Posted yesterday at 05:24 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 05:24 PM Listened to Olin yesterday. He said the Eagles defensive front was trying to flow to the ball and our Oline was just washing them out of the play. The best way to stop the cut backs we were running is to go upfield and get penetration. From what I've seen in film of the Eagles game, you can keep one of the LBs backside to stay in that gap. Yet that removes a player or two from the front side of the play. You can replace one gap with a safety. Or what the Vikings did in our 2nd game was blitzing a CB or two off the edge to counter both the run game or go get your QB. Word is the Packers generally are a zone coverage defense with 2 safeties back. Are they going to commit a safety to the box? I don't see them changing a lot of the zone coverage to man especially as that zone helps keep eyes on Caleb when he's running. Whatever they try to do, Olin doesn't expect their DTs to hold up well against our Oline. Single high is risky against our receivers but with cold weather and Caleb's inaccuracies you could bet that he won't complete many.

I need to see them beat our better divisional foes and I personally think right now Packers are better than Eagles. This will be a very good test. Bears are absolutely trending in right direction - but the haven’t yet earned anything in the division other than beating a very bad Minny team 1 out of 2. Let’s see what they can do. Let’s go Bears!!!

adam
Weather looks like it will just be cold with light winds. 16 degrees at kickoff (Real Feel 9), then it will slowly drop to around 10 degrees by the end of the game, real feel about 5.
