Thank god, 2 firsts was too much even being as late as ours should be.  We have a lot of picks to build long term success and eventually we can trade players for more. 

Phew - quite happy not to have seen the Bears next to that trade.

IMO we are not trading 2 first round picks for anybody. This move shows it would have been 2 1st round picks. Poles won't do that. 

50% of our fan base are sad right now. It just wasn't going to happen.

So I guess now we're looking at Hendrickson or something similar (maybe a DT?). And we have picks to stock the defense.

We will of course sign a bunch of cheaper free agents too to "fill holes" before the draft, but some won't end up starters by mid season.

Go get Decker and a DT.  Fill out the safety spots, one LB and let’s go drafting.

That works. Not sure we won't get an edge too. Could be a big name, could be mid tier?

I think we will pay like a 10 mil contract for a DL, either DE or possibly a DT. Not sure we will for another position.

I think Byard may get close to that but not any free agent Ss or LBers. You can find cheaper Free agents to compete at S and LB. Example would be TJ Edwards, a great value at what we have paid him.

I think a  Cam Jordan or Mack if we can get at a team friendly price. I just think they are Cap conscious with every move, so it will selective and not at a big price.

I would love us to bring in Johnathan Allen at a bargain price.

I wonder is they surprise us and sign a DB and than go dline in draft. I’m totally on board giving Hendrickson big money for 2 years presuming he gets a clean bill of health. Dude gets to the qb.
