14 hours ago14 hr comment_234993 I saw this nugget from the Albert Breer article. Recovery is typically 6-12 months, which is a huge range of outcomes. We are 8 months removed from this injury, and 9 is the halfway point in the range. Could the Bears get Trapilo back in October or November? That would be huge. And it looks like Ozzy Trapilo, who started six regular-season games at left tackle, then tore his patellar tendon in the wild-card round, might be back sooner than expected.SIAlbert Breer Empties His Bears Notebook From Training CampCaleb Williams's maturation continues as he works to become a more consistent passer. 7 hours ago7 hr comment_234997 It’s not dependent on severity of the injury. PUP would surprise me because he’ll have a lot of work to do getting back into playing shape. Report

Its great to have problems with several above average players on the line for a change. BJ working the schemes and Roushar has to be a good coach to have these results. We have several OGs that look good and two starter type Cs on the roster. The best OL group over the last ten years. Report
4 hours ago4 hr comment_235001 This is a perfect example of media narratives. And dont get me wrong, if you read my comments about the LT situation, more than anyone here, I want Trapillo back! But one guy (Breer) says one line buried in an article about something else, and everyone goes nuts. If he had any new info, that would have been included because it would bring clicks and eyeballs. Instead, my GUESS is that he was commenting on the picture from last month of his working out without a knee brace on. And he was working on upper body in the picture. So now this one comment blows up into a narrative, repeated by other writers, and then by people on this board. And there is literally NO new information. This is why repeating media narratives is so dumb. There's nothing there. Nothing happened. The subject is one we are all dying for information about, so any comment becomes something to talk about, when there is literally nothing there. Report

Unless I hear it from Schefter, Rappoport or the Bears, it is not news worthy. There is a difference when someone actually witnesses something. Report

Trapilo will return but instead of missing the entore season asbexpected, he might return in November if ahead of schedule (9 month timeline) Report
