March 21, 200818 yr comment_34341 Glad your back. FYI - I did not receive any emails on this issue. I will get with Pix and DBDB and make sure I am set up correctly. Peace You didn't receive any emails on the issue because I couldn't remember your email address. It might actually be in my address book and I didn't tag it for Bearstalk. That being said, maybe we could somehow setup a distribution list as an email address for complaints or whatnot for admins. Or a complaint PM address that all the admins get an email from. I know how to do it as an Exchange admin, but not on a message board. Just a thought........ Report
March 21, 200818 yr comment_34343 Great to see you back LT By the way, I usually do check my email on a daily basis. It is just that I have been having some health problems coupled with a heavy work schedule which in turn is complicated because I was promoted at work and am busting my ass to make sure I impress the hell out of those who made the decision to give me chance to step up. At the time you were having the problems which led to the misunderstandings I seldom even turned on the computer. Things are getting a bit easier at work, feeling a bit more secure in the new position, so that has taken a load off my mind. I assure you I will be more attentive in the future. You are certainly a valued member of the forum! I would not want you or any other member of this forum for 1 minute to think I do not value everyones participation at TalkBears. Report
March 21, 200818 yr comment_34344 Pix, I can't give you enough thanks for all your efforts! You and all the other mods have been very fair to me, and I think everyone. Once in a blue moon, there's a legit gripe...but overall, it's always settled for the better. Please keep up the good work, your efforts are not going unappreciated! Thanks Mad Man, this Old Man appreciates your kind words. Report

March 21, 200818 yr comment_34352 I still think Pix sucks. Of coarse, that might have something to do w/ Pix kicking my ass in FF this year Report
March 21, 200818 yr comment_34354 All issues/complaints should be sent to www.kissmyass.net Sorry, just having some fun Report
March 21, 200818 yr comment_34356 Great. Just freaking great. Not only did I get my ass kicked in FF, but I got my ass kicked by some 120 year old man w/ health issues, who works so often he barely has time to turn on the computer. Excuse my while I go shoot msyelf. I hereby give up my FF membership card? I have been disgraced Report
March 21, 200818 yr comment_34357 Not sure if you are referring to my ripping LT2 or apologizing (seriously, do not answer that question) but thanks. I get sappy sometimes, but I am not sure all posters have an appreciation for the board. Many/most of the posters live in Illinois, and if they want to talk bears, they can go to the local bar. My many other posters like myself who do not live in Illinois, this board remains among our few options to talk shop. When I see the chemisty on this board threatened, I respond as a crack addict who see's someone messing w/ his dealer. Back off Mo-Fo. I need my fix. Report
March 21, 200818 yr comment_34362 It's great to see LT back and this Bears community isn't going anywhere. It has to be one of the best moderated forums around with some of the best informed fans. How many times have we had topics posted here that ended up as the subject of articles in the Trib or Suntimes? We've been through numerous offseason tiffs going all the way back to the Shoop days and before. (It's always worse in the offseason) Let's get over all the man-hugs and get back to figuring out who we're drafting. Afterall, we only have a little over 30 days to get this info to Jerry. Report
March 21, 200818 yr comment_34365 That reminds me. Since the big move over to this board, have we had a good Shoop debate? Probably our best OC in the last decade. Report

I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit... And what little amount of repect I may have had for a crotchety not so young man like yourself flew out the window! I can never take Crackheads place but I can stir the pot a bit so you don't have to invent things to get your post count up Report
March 22, 200818 yr comment_34399 SON OF A BITCH! You just outed LT2 and I Thankfully, neither of us carry enough noteriety for that to be taken out of context. My offer from WAY before (Ummm probably several years in fact) is still good in case you want to come to Illinois and split a ridiculously expensive bottle of scotch over salary cap discussions. (Or we could get whacked and watch porn or play on my PS2) My fav is Sheep Dip when it comes to scotch. I'll pick up your fav though since you'd be handling the whole travel thing. Report

March 22, 200818 yr comment_34402 Ok LT and nfo...you caught my roaming eye! I'm all about ridiculously expensive scotch! Lagavulin's my favorite...mainly Islay. Laphroig and Bowmore are also one's I love to knock down with a fine Cuban! On my usual yearly trip to Chicago, I'd love to join you guys in some Bears discussions...with the help of some of the water of life! On my usual yearly trip to Chicago, I'd love to join you guys in some Bears discussions...with the help of some of the water of life! Holy crap. Lagavulin is the nastiest anything I have had. I had a bottle of it after a party, and gave it away. Tasted like Robatussen to me. I simply do not care for the Islay region. Too much peete. Funny thing is, I was talking to some guys on the golf coarse today about this exact topic (Lagavulin/Islay region) Report
March 22, 200818 yr comment_34418 Honestly, it was only a partial joke. I have said it before, but I would take Shoop over Shea or Crowton in a second. As for Turner, while I think he is better, at the same time, he has a lot more to work w/ than Shoop did, and yet has not impressed me. I give Shoop credit for 2001, when we did not have superior talent, and yet our offense was still productive. W/ that said, after 2001, he showed his true colors in not being able to adapt to injuries, changes in personnel, or simply the need to alter game plans. Report

[/quote or simply unglue playbook pages 2-etc. . All he has to do is mix it up better than he did. I honestly think that losing berrian may have been a good thing, cause now he won't constantly try the playaction bomb to berrian on first down all the time. Booker may just make him mix it up more with some cross the middle passes which I feel he didn't use enough especially with olsen. Our offense for some reason always felt like it revolved around berrian and once a team shut him down our passing game went down. Then again it didn't help that moose had so many drops as well. Report
March 23, 200818 yr comment_34446 Maybe, but is that not a knock on Turner? I think Booker will help, but our offense just seemed so predictable, and not just do to Berrian, IMHO. Report
