I am a nosey bastard. I not everyone is from Chicago and was wondering what other teams in the major sports you guys like. Me: MLB- White Sox. I hate the Cubs NHL- Blackhawks. Much hate for the Wings and Blues NBA- Bulls. Still hate Pistons and Knicks. I grew up on the north side, went to St Pat's and have a gaggle of kids. Four little crumb snatchers belong to me. Sons 15 and 8 and daughters 13 and 9. Like I said just a little nosey.

Just wondering if there any people on this board who play Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox live. I would consider myself a casual gamer some of the people... ok most of the people on the multiplayer seem to take the game entirely too seriously and play it non stop. It might be fun to set up a clan or do some multiplayer matches with fellow Bear fans. This is going to be a long offseason for the Bears might be a fun way to pass the time.

Since there are people who read this, after the customer service I've received over the past month, for God's sake, don't use AT&T for your home phone service or internet. My God, this is awful. This is the 3rd time in the past month and the 2nd time this week my service has gone out for no reason, and now it won't be back on until next Tuesday.

Had the RROD and did the X-Clamp repair. It lives again!!! It took less than an hour to do the repair. Now I have two working Xbox 360s. Kinda fun to do too. I may buy some dead ones on ebay and fix them and resell as X-Clamp repaired.

Looking for some good open ended strategy/adventure type games for the Xbox360. The type of games where you have free reign to do as you please for the most part and can pick your own path/goals instead of being forced to follow one preset path. One game I'm looking at is Fallout 3 which I've heard good things about. I picked up a copy of Sid Meir's Civilization Revolution and I've been hooked on that I like games that have depth and many choices and the choices you make have an effect but also provide multiple paths to victory. I'm by no means an avid hardcore gamer, I'm not to big on the first person shooters and overly complex games drive me nuts. After 12 …

For those who can stand heights, the new "Ledge" that will allow visitors to the Sears Tower Skydeck to look straight down 1,353 feet opens Thursday at 9 a.m. The Ledge--actually enclosed glass boxes--extends about 4.3 feet from the building, according to the Skydeck Web site, and is touted to provide "never-before-seen" views of Chicago. First opened in 1974, the Skydeck attracts about 1.3 million people annually. The 1,500-pound glass panels used in the Ledge's construction on the 103rd floor of the skyscraper were installed by MTH Industries, the same architectural metal contractor that installed the Cloud Gate sculpture in Millennium Park, accordi…

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/8230678.stm Poland has been holding a day of commemorations to mark the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of World War II. Leaders from 20 countries laid candles during a ceremony near Gdansk. Earlier, Polish President Lech Kaczynski criticised the former Soviet Union over responsibility for the war. His words added to an ongoing row with Moscow, although Russian PM Vladimir Putin said he hoped the two countries could settle their differences. Mr Kaczynski said Poland had received a "stab in the back" from the former Soviet Union when it invaded and occupied the east of the country as the German army was advanci…
