I want to be completely honest here. I am a biracial individual born of a black father and white mother. Moms from Chi; pops is from FLA. My mothers brother nurtured my sports alliances while he was still alive. These are the Cubs, Bears, Bulls,, Blackhawks and Sox just cuz they are Chitown. This is huge. To have a GOP paper like the Chicago Tribune endorse a Democrat for the first time in history this week was big. But I think many could discount it because he's the home town guy. To have a Texas newspaper and Colin Powell, probably the most respected voice in the Republican Party, endorse Obama is incredible. Here is a link to the Houston Chronicle endorsement.
