Are you a diehard Chicago Bears fan? If so, you've found the spot to discuss all things Chicago Bears. Discuss the Monster of the Midway right here as the Bears look to get back on track in 2024 and take the North and never give it back! Flaming is not allowed and all such posts will be deleted. Try to keep it clean and most importantly BEAR DOWN! #BEARS #CHICAGOBEARS #BEARDOWN

  1. Thought this could be an interesting thread; We've had a lot of discussion in the other threads specifically on Fox, but who is everyone picking/want as the next head coach. I'm going to throw my name out...David Shaw, Stanford HC. Very charismatic, high character, proven head football coach (at college) but he also has extensive experience at the pro level (as an assistant). His overall style fits the Bears legacy well and likely resonates with the McCaskeys (to go along with his character). Hard nosed football, runs a pro offense at stanford, strong defense...overall an offensive mind whose overall style should resonate with the general Bears fan base. Not only …

So let's say we're sold on Trubisky. I'm not completely 100%, but I see potential. Nonetheless, this class is LOADED. At what point do you consider drafting a guy if he slips? I've seen mocks where guys like Josh Allen slips to the third, and Baker Mayfield slips to the fourth, which would be unbelievable to me. I'd say the third or fourth round is when the Bears should start considering the QB position. Regardless of depth, the QB position needs to be considered every year until a stud backup is acquired.

Per Adam Hoge on Twitter: "Things are tense today at Halas Hall. A loud argument between players just erupted in the hallway adjacent to the media room. Hard to tell exactly who was involved. #Bears" IMO - Fox is losing this team. Peace

Day after, and I feel hungover. Not from actual drinking, but from the season already. Not that I watched the whole game...I bowed out when we went down by 21 to watch the Red Zone Channel. This team is done for the season. They are checked out. I don't think we beat SF. SF is fighting hard and have a better coaching staff than us. I think the only one we win is against the Browns. We go 4-12. That said, like the team, I'm a bit checked out. It's hard watching Tru struggle with bad play calling, stupid penalties and no talent around him. I'll still stick with it, but I literally wish there was a Madden "Simulate Rest of Season" button. We have some tal…

I don't think we win this one, but I don't think we lose by 14. Trap game for Philly looking ahead to SEA. Mid 40's for game time temperature....Bear weather. Philly is #1 against the run, but that may be due to their early leads. Overall defenses are comparable in overall yards, but Philly has a bunch more INTs and PD's. Again, this may be due to their leads and teams needing to pass more against them. If our offense takes another step forward and our defense doesn't lay an egg, we will at least look competitive. It would be nice to see both sides of the ball play well in the same game. PHI 27-20

They gave out some interesting grades for some Bears. Several offensive linemen made their top 4 for Week 11: Leno the highest graded OT, Massie 4th: https://twitter.com/PFF/status/933157093095411712 Whitehair the highest graded C: https://twitter.com/PFF/status/933126895025221632 Shaheen the top rated TE: https://twitter.com/PFF/status/933096774763294720 Josh Sitton, 3rd highest G: https://twitter.com/PFF/status/933089394788937728 DI Mitch Unrein, 81.0 overall grade and highest rated defender https://www.profootballfocus.com/news/pro-r...hicago-bears-24 I have no clue how they grade, but it is clear that they apply no context to…

Are we already in mock draft territory? I think we are. Here's my first fanspeak mock. 10: R1P10 EDGE ARDEN KEY LSU 42: R2P10 WR CALVIN RIDLEY ALABAMA 112: R4P10 OT JAMARCO JONES OHIO STATE 114: R4P12 CB ADONIS ALEXANDER VIRGINIA TECH 148: R5P10 CB JAMAL PETERS MISSISSIPPI STATE 189: R6P10 G BRADEN SMITH AUBURN I think we'll draft higher than 10, but it's a good place to start. And if it happens like this, I'll be floored. Arden Key is probably the best possible 3-4 OLB available, and I think Ridley is the best WR in the nation. That would be incredible. Following that up with a solid OT is great. Adonis Alexander could easily play safety sinc…

From Larry Mayer on the Chicago Bears website: Perhaps the most demoralizing aspect of Sunday's game for the Bears was that they didn't lose to a future Hall of Famer such as Brett Favre or Rodgers but to an inexperienced quarterback in Brett Hundley who was making only his fourth NFL start. Hundley deserves credit for his performance—he threw for 212 yards with one touchdown and a 110.8 passer rating—but he obviously is not one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history like his two predecessors. The Bears have now lost their last eight games to the Packers at Soldier Field beginning with the 2010 NFC Championship Game and are 4-21 at home versus Green Bay sin…
