Just listened to it on the score. Said everyone on offense should be held accountable, even if it meant jobs. Said he's trying his hardest not to let this affect him, but it's affecting him more than it should. This could get ugly if we don't make the playoffs. He got so angry he had to leave the podium.

Seriously, why did we go with Louis and Kinder when guys like Canfield and Cadogen were there? Both guys were projected to go anywhere from the 2nd-4th, but were there in the 7th. I understand we upgraded significantly via FA on the OL, but when guys like these 2 are there, you take them.

Per the Bears' website, Earl Bennett is changing his number from 85 to 80. Apparently he wanted to go back to his college number (10) but the NFL won't let you switch from an 80-89 number to a 10-19 number. Seems like a dumb rule to me. However, he's now got 80, Berrian's old number. The superstitious part of me thinks that could be a good thing. It appears Rashied Davis has put himself into the lead here to start at one of the slots. Who starts alongside him? I think at this point it will be Hester splitting time with Lloyd. Davis will move to the slot when we go with 3 WR sets. We know Bennett will be on the roster so after tonight IMO that leaves Booker fighting Bradley for the 5th spot. What do you value? Booker's experience in route running and blocking ability or Bradley's athleticism for big plays (not that he made many)? Anybody else notice Bradley on special teams tonight? Neither has impressed me and I'm 50-50 between them.

I just read camp notes out on the Suntimes web site. And the sentence that got me was something like "anytime that the Bears want to rip out the pages that relate to the screen pass is fine by me" -Brad Biggs. I never really heard what his injury was other than a knee. To what extent and is there a projected return for him? I really like his addition and am anxious to see him play.

A loss gives us the 7th pick, and a win drops us from 8th thru 11th depending on the outcome of 3 other games. We need ATL, NO, and NYG to all win to get the highest pick possible. Also, a win puts us into 3rd in the division making our schedule even tougher next year. The last place team plays TB and WAS, while the 3rd place team is going to get NYG and the 3rd place finisher of the NFC South (CAR , ATL, NO). That is a huge swing.

Johnny Knox, a 5th round pick rookie from a small school has 8 catches for 152 yards and 1 TD. Brandon Marshall has 7 catches for 61 yards and no scores. Eddie Royal has 5 catches for 38 yards and no scores. In Denver, w/ Cutler, Marshall and Royal were an elite WR combination. Royal was a rookie, but played beyond his years and experience while Marshall was seen as one of the top 5 WRs in the game. W/ Cutler, these two WRs are not even worth a flex start on a FF roster…

Bears will likely finish season at 6-10 and pick in the top 10 (Projection based on us losing to Lions / Saints / Cowboys and beating Vikings). We started last year 3-0 and finished at 5-8. If we do end up finishing at 6-10, that means in the last 29 games, we would be 11-18, which would be good for a .379 winning percentage. The way I see it, the Bears QB and RB situation are nearly the same. QB: Two average starters who have done well at times, horrible at others. Nobody from other teams is scared of either Bears' QB. RB: Two average starters (and a younger guy who is outside the box), who have some good qualities, but several bad ones as well. Since Benson was already on thin ice, and clearly not living up to expectations, is this arrest the opportunity the coaches needed to supplant him as training camp #1?
