Are you a diehard Chicago Bears fan? If so, you've found the spot to discuss all things Chicago Bears. Discuss the Monster of the Midway right here as the Bears look to get back on track in 2024 and take the North and never give it back! Flaming is not allowed and all such posts will be deleted. Try to keep it clean and most importantly BEAR DOWN! #BEARS #CHICAGOBEARS #BEARDOWN

Worked with Jay in the past and Jay publicly campaigned to bring him aboard back in 2012. It would appear that Jay is here at least another year. I'm guessing Fox has sat down with Jay and his name came up. *Sits back and waits for catering to Jay comments*

    1. MadLith- I love your posts, but today is a game that I could make an argument that Hester lost for the Bears. His presence did nothing today. The Bears never got great field position on punts because of him. He would've had a 0 yard catch but instead ran backwards for a loss of 6. He dropped an easy TD. Yes, he made a tough catch, but again, he ran on that kick-off, caught it, and went out at the 6. He's a moron, and if a team wants to give the Bears a 2nd and a 4th for him, be my guest. I'll drive his expensive, wasteful a** to the airport. 2. Is anyone still questioning Cutler now? Dude's a beast. It's a shame his career has come to this. He would've won a Super…

Not sure if this is in the right forum. Has anyone else looked at the prices for PSL seats through the Bears PSL marketplace. Question for ya guys: Does anyone own any PSL's and what price did you pay(if you dont mind telling)? Im thinking about offering a guy for a set of 4 and was trying to gauge a fair price. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Question: would you trade the 1st, 2nd, and two 3rd's for Calvin Johnson? I know I would really consider that thought and think this Justin Blackmon can be a Terrell Owens or Calvin Johnson type of threat. If by chance Justin Blackmon falls to the 5th pick that will equal 1700 points on the trade value chart. Our 1, 2, and 3's will equal 1700 points. After watching the bowl game and knowing he wasn't 100% healthy and he absolutely destroyed his competetion shows me he will excel in the NFL and be a top 5 WR. Just a nugget to consider, we do have ammo to go up to pick #5. Also, I think he comes across as a good high character guy. How about Micheal Floyd, some …

I don't think we'll target Faneca. It's tough to justify paying him that much more then we'll pay Olin Kreutz. If we go for a quality starter at a normal price, I think we'll look to sign either Rex Hadnot of Miami, Jake Scott of Indianapolis, Jacob Bell of Tennessee, Justin Smiley of San Francisco, Floyd Womack of Seattle, Jamar Nesbit of New Orleans, or Damien Woody of Detroit. I sure do like what I see from Tremaine Edmunds. If he is in the middle, I think he can do a lot of things for us, and Fangio would know just how to use him. In zone defense, he'd be another Urlacher, and imagine how much more effective that would be when we arent in cover 2 all the time. In man, he clearly has the skills to stay with TEs and even slot receivers. In this day and age of college running QBs, he is a spy too. He has the speed and tackling ability to shut that down in a hurry. And hes long enough for pass rush and as sure an open field tackler as Ive ever seen. He would be an excellent chess piece for Fangio.

I've been thinking about posting thoughts on the effect signing Cutler will have on the Bears. Here are my thoughts: Offense: The effect here is obvious. He has all the tools, mobility included. He'll stretch the field with his arm allowing Turnwer to call any play he wants. Forte and Co. will have more room to run, as a result of a softer box. Lastly, Cutler will have to accounted for when designing pass rushes, as he will dangerous out of the pocket. Defense: Lovie will be able to release the hounds in various ways knowing he has a QB that can put numbers on the board. Also, with an improved running comes greater time of possession, keeping the defense…

What if the coaches said, as others here have, that there is a decent amount of young talent on the team? That they just need good coaching? Suppose they think Paea will be stout enough for the NT spot, and the combo of Young, Sutton, Ferguson, Allen, etc. is enough for the DL? Suppose they think SMC is great at his natural position, and Bostic/Greene are perfect for the other two holes in the 3-4, with Briggs filling the last spot? They realize the need at FS, but like the scondary otherwise...and dislike small school safeties. I present you with the anti-Lovie draft, where they eschew the weakness and supplement the strength. 1. Trade back and get Landon …

  16. As per PFT. Althogh he's visiting with the Cowboys and Lions. The Dolphins are also interested. Offensive guard is one area with have not addressed in free agency. (which leads me to suspect we plan on starting Carimi at guard). It would be huge if we could add Moore to stabilize the line. Although he plays at RG which means we'd need to move either him or Lance Louis to LG (assuming Louis resigns.)

  17. After seeing the Jets beat the Rams, then the Bengals beat the Steelers, I really hope the Bears don't crap the bed on this one with so much on the line. This is the worst team the Bears will face this year, 31st in DVOA, 25th Offensive DVOA and 31st in Defensive DVOA, only the Jets are worse. If the Bears manhandled the Texans, this should be a blowout, however, Minshew is actually really solid for a QB on a 1-13 team. He has thrown 16 TDs to 5 INTs and Robinson is one of the best RBs in the league. However, after those two and Chark, they have a bunch of very average players. The Jags defense is crazy bad, they have allowed 20 or more points in every ga…

Leno has gotten better each year but is still not even average. the only difference from Leno and Whitehair is the 2" difference in arm length, otherwise they are the same size player. I looked at last years OT class and the best OT were a little taller and they all had longer arms. The one closest to the size of Whitehair was T. Decker, his arm length is 1" longer than Whitehair. So here is what I think will happen, they will stick the best 5 OL on the field at the same time. The question that needs to be answered is how good is Grasu, if he is healthy and has become a good player, I think they move Whitehair out to LT. Whitehair played the position in col…
