Guys, I’m not sure where to even start. But before the season I think most of us thought Poles had this thing heading in the right direction. And yes we were questioning the offensive line and after taking so many hits there what was questionable became a weak link. The record at the beginning of the season was always a mirage. And the wheels came off due mostly to us facing better teams but also due to horrendous coaching. Just hiring a new coaching staff and repeating the cycle again doesn’t seem to be the answer to me. That said, I’m lost as to where we go from here. I really can’t even watch the games at this point. And Caleb is THIS CLOSE to being …

This one should be fun. It will depend on what Chicago team shows up. If the same one that has mailed it in shows up, this is an easy 20 pt win for Minnesota. If the Bears roster plays up to potential, it will be a lot closer like the first game. However, looking at what Shanahan did to Washington on Sunday, I am assuming KOC will know how to use Jefferson, Addison, Hockenson, and Jones the same way. My initial thought on this is 31-13 Vikings.

Jones has a concussion issue. Kiran Amagadje is available, as is Larry Borom. First and foremost, I worry about Caleb. I want him protected. No point in getting him injured now. But I'd be lying if I said I wasnt interested to see Amagadje out there showing what he's got. Hopefully both are possible at once, and Amagadje shows us something. But if it's one or the other, of course I'd lean toward protecting Caleb. And it's not like Borom is any sure thing. If things get ridiculous, I wouldn't be averse to seeing Bagent out there if things get hairy just to make sure Caleb is OK.

I have seen some people suggesting this, but knowing what the Bears gave up for Mack, at the end of the day, I don't know if 2x 1st rounders would be worth it knowing how much help the OL needs. What do you think? If the Bears offered up their next 2x 1st rounders, would you trade for Parsons? I wouldn't because the Bears need to build with the draft, and I would rather they gain draft capital than trade it away.

SF at 5-7 is favored by 3.5 pts at home. They are playing after a SUN Night game in the snow in BUF, while the Bears are coming off their mini bye at Thanksgiving. SF has lost 3 straight and have been outscored 73-20 in their last two games. McCaffrey looks to be out for the year, so it will be interesting to see how they respond. With the Bears, it will all come down to how the team responds to Brown as the HC. The talent is there as they have been in every game this year outside of the ARZ game. Otherwise, they had a chance to win any one of the other 7 losses. They could've easily beat 3 of the top 10 teams in the league over the past 3 weeks. EPA/PLAY: …

In the last 3 seasons, the Bears have signed or traded for at least 37 players, I am sure I missed a few. Of all the trades and free agent signings, I have 5 players that have exceeded expectations based on contract or trade value. Who did I miss? I know you can't hit on all of them, but it feels like there are way too many at the bottom. Super long post, but let me know if you think this looks accurate? This group exceeded expectations: 1. Moore - has been as close of WR1 as they have had since Alshon and Marshall 2. Edwards - great LB signing 3. Billings - underrated DT 4. Byard - huge upgrade from Jackson 5. Taylor - for a 6th round pick? …

At this point, it would be a miracle if the Bears drafted outside of the top 10. With that in mind, I wanted to see what type of players were available in the top 10. According to a collection of big boards here is what I came up with: T. Hunter CB/WR - most likely non-QB to go #1 T. McMillan WR - I feel like the Bears are good at WR with Moore and Odunze and a vet like Allen or someone else can be WR3. M. Graham DT - I would love him on the Bears A. Jeanty RB - Not the ideal position for the Bears, but if he fell to #9, that would be a hard one to pass up. A. Carter ED - Would be amazing across from Sweat W. Johnson CB - Not the biggest need but would be …

It's seems like Washington had some things he wanted to try out today with some funky handoff zones. It's obvious the team didn't grasp the concept. He didn't do himself any favors. So far, 38pts, 438 yards, with five plays over 30 yards.

an organization that is competent like any other business. an organization that understands professional football and how to maintain high quality players and staff. OUR OWNERS: should be by now smart enough to know they know NOTHING about how to operate a successful franchise. let intelligent football people run the show and stay out of anything to do with football operations until the people they hire as president are proven to be bad and for keerist's sake FORGET/DELETE polians phone number. better yet sell to mark cuban. PRESIDENT OF FOOTBALL OPERATIONS: has to understand how the nfl works and how an individual franchise SHOULD function. his job is to hire a…

Thru 13 games it is clear that the roster is too weak to compete. At a minimum, they need a new LT, C, and RG. My assumption is they will keep Jenkins and Wright. I don't think Allen comes back, so they will need a new WR3, which is a need, but more like tier 2. TE2 is also in this group. On defense, they need a true Edge2, DT, CB2, and probably S. That is 9 starters or key contributors. For upgrades, they need to look at RB, LB, and rotational DT. That is 12 new bodies and we would be going into Year 4 of a rebuild. That is unacceptable in my opinion.

Yikes. If this is true, then he is just Ted Phillips in disguise. Why is our team always held hostage to non football corporate guys?!! I could imagine Ryan poles quitting and giving a press conference saying that they arent letting him make his decisions, and that he didnt want Eberflus back, and he didnt want Waldron, and they forced Flus on him int he first place, that the Bears are broken, and no one should want to work there as GM as long as ownership isnt letting GMs do their job. Who does Warren think he is? Now I REALLY dont know what to think of Poles. Was it Poles, was it Warren, was is McCaskey?

Here are the worst records against the top half of the league. It makes sense that most of the bottom feeders are on the list, but I was surprised to see DEN on there. They are 8-0 against bad teams and 0-5 vs good teams. If they make the playoffs, they are the first team eliminated (AFC side). ATL would be the same for the NFC. There is only one team on this list with a losing record AND a positive points differential, the Chicago Bears. You cannot make up how bad this team has been under Flus. JAX 0-8 CIN 0-7 CHI 0-6 MIA 0-5 DEN 0-5 (8-5) NE 0-5 NO 0-4 CAR 0-4 LVR 1-7 NYJ 1-7 SF 1-6 NYG 1-5 ATL 1-5 (6-6) Besides one-score game lo…

I know these can be taken with a grain of salt, but there are some good stats in there beyond the grades. Some of the grades actually pass the eye test. I find it interesting that the top 3 offensive players in PFF for the Bears are on the OL, Wright, Jones, and Jenkins, and all the OL are higher than Williams, Kmet, Odunze, Allen, and Swift. The only offensive skill players higher than Shelton and Pryor are Moore and Roschon. The good thing is the worst starter, (according to PFF), is Swift at a 62.0, which means every starter is above average (60.0). The worst players with over 100 snaps are: Lewis - 43.3, Everett - 45.3, and Borom - 49.3 which passes t…

This move seems to have backfired on Poles. A waste of a 4th round pick and roster spot. Allen has been a liability and for some reason Caleb has targeted him a ton. He has 30 receptions on 56 targets with several drops. Kmet has 32 receptions on 37 targets. So 2 more receptions with 19 fewer targets. Allen also missed 2 games, so those numbers would be even higher if he didn't. It almost feels like Caleb feels obligated to throw the ball to Allen even though there are much more efficient options. Allen should be the 4th option, not the 1st or 2nd one.

This will be the nationally televised disaster that gets Flus fired. That is my hope at least. I honestly thought we could not get a worse coach than Trestman, but the Bears have hit a new low with Eberflus. What an absolute joke and fraud of a coach. His limit is as a Defensive Coordinator. He is not a Head Coach. The first year was masked by the rebuild. The 2nd year was Fields. There was no excuse this year. It is the same result with a new way to lose week in and week out. He can't win a challenge, does not know how or when to use timeouts, and the team is always unprepared. Now with the defense failing, there is zero reason to keep him as the HC. If you are goi…

The defense has been faultering lately but over all in the season it is still in the upper end of the league. Considering the lack of offense in many games, they showed fatige at the end of the game. Begining the yr Pickens was injured and just starting getting snaps the last few games. Sweat and Darrell Taylor have been fighting injuries most of the yr. Terrell Smith missed most of the season and Jacob Martin started the season on IR. Injuries are part of the game but only being 2 and a1/2 seasons into a complete rebuild, the roster in not up to speed yet. Kyler Gordon was out several games also. We have missed Brisker 7 games now and Billings is gone for the yr sta…

What more do you need to see? How many more games are going to lose because of coaching? No team pulls losses from the jaws of victory like the Bears. This one, at home, against your supposed #1 rivals, for a chance to stay in the playoff hunt. Instead you lose in another miserable fashion to lose your 4th straight. Btw, GB blocked a FG kick last week to win, so you had to know they were good at it and should not have taken any risks with a long kick, but what do I know. I am so sick of Flus, more than any coach that I can remember. Loved Lovie, didn't mind Nagy, just didn't like his play calling, but Flus is on a whole nother level of suck. We are now in Year …

The Bears currently have a <1% chance to make the playoffs, but there is a chance. First, they would have to take care of business, winning no less than 5 of their last 6, preferably all 6, which would be more than they have won in their first 11 games. Scenario 1 - Win the last 6 games and 1. have WAS (7-5, 5-3 Conf) lose to at least 3 of PHI, ATL, NO, DAL or TEN, and finish no better than 9-8, and 2. have ARZ (6-5, 3-4 Conf) lose to at least 3 of MIN, SEA, LAR, and SF, and finish no better than 9-8. 3. by winning all 6, CHI would have the H2H tiebreaker against SEA, SF, and LAR. * - Both the WAS and ARZ steps are very possible, winning 6 straight…
