He was nicknamed 4Th Quarter Jay............ Is this just going to be the norm?????

Does Briggs look really fat and out of shape???? He looks totally different in pads this year. I would think with this being his last year in contract he would have shown up in the best shape possible.

Two Oline from last week both WR's banged up Tillman Conte Ratiliff Anyone else im missing? I cant take another year like last. Please get these guys healthy!!!!

So, tell me if I'm crazy for thinking this, but what if the Bears are actually benefiting from playing all of these games against zone-read teams with athletic QB's? They got a major taste of it with the Eagles and Seahawks in pre-season, and right off the bat in the regular season, they get the Bills, 49'ers, and Jets in back-to-back-to-back weeks. They've been awful at defending it up until this game. They still allowed like 120 yards on the ground today, but it feels different this time. Gore had 1 explosive run and Kaepernick got away from a few defenders that missed tackles to rack up some yardage late. The difference this time is the Bears were usually right there t…

Willie Young is out playing both Jared Allen and Lamar Houston so with Ratliff being hurt He should be the answer at DE and Houston should go inside as well as Sutton getting more plays he was decent as well.

Total Loss For words... Amazing how the rookies and Free agents played. Kudos to Briggs too, crazy old bastard

What a beast

Have a nice time with puppies and rainbows. Total embarrassment

I imagine if Defense gives up two scores Jeffery will exit

Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter · 4h Major questions about Bears WRs, Marshall and Jeffery. One source said "75 percent" sure neither plays tonight. Bears signed two PS WRs Sat. https://twitter.com/adamschefter

JayGlazer @JayGlazer Texas law enforcement handing down indictment today on Vikings RB Adrian Peterson on charges of injury to a child. Peterson has been cooperating w law enforcement. He now had to turn himself into custody NFL Network reporting he's been deactivated for this weeks game..... Vikings, who looked pretty good week 1, could be in a whole lotta trouble.

Comcast SportsNet @CSNChicago · 49m Report: #Bears waive Fales, cut Fiammetta and Hayden I'm guessing we see Boggs, Williams, and Bellamy called up from the practice squad. Perhaps just one of the WRs and Frey/Al Louis-Jean/Terrance Mitchell. Hoping Fales makes it through waivers and gets put on the practice squad.

Pretty good article that seems to summarize the obvious. Not sure that Coach T has lost or "is losing the locker room". One thing for sure is if he doesn't show some sort of cultural change he could lose his job. http://www.suntimes.com/29829476-606/trest...ml#.VBMlk9m9LCR

After watching Ray Lewis "a football life" on NFL network I was thinking he should be brought into Chicago as our defensive quality control coach and groomed to be our future def coordinator. The dude was a stud who played the game the right way and clearly is a leader of men with a passion for excellence.

In the next couple games, Forte could eclipse the 10,000 yards total mark for the Bears. Currently he sits at 6,748 yards rushing and 3.005 yards receiving. That's amazing considering he is only in the beginning of his 7th year and has missed a few games with injury.

By position: Cutler - 9th Forte - 7th Bennett - 2nd Jeffery - 12th Marshall - 62nd Overall: Offense - 6th Defense - 21st Special Teams - 15th http://www.footballoutsiders.com/ Projections: Playoffs - 31.5% Wins - 7.9

The Bears or any other team will never win the SB with Cutler. Just one of many things I hate about cutler=ALL other qb's look at the photos and study it with the qb coach when the D is on the field. Cutler looks at it for a second or not at all (he does not even have the photos in his hands the coach does) and then has this attitude like "I already know this, I do not need to look at the photos" I seen many times where the coach is sitting next to cutler looking at the photos and cutler is looking in the other direction or away like he's not at fault . Both interceptions and the one that should of been picked off, he threw without setting up his feet. He's like a good r…

So going into this game, it is nice to see Trestman getting the team there on Friday instead of Saturday. I like the extra day to acclimate and fine tune the game plan. Garza going down may be a blessing in disguise because De La Puente played great. Mills still seems to be the biggest issue on the line based on what I saw last week. This game is very concerning as SF has more weapons than Buffalo and a better Defense. Kaepernick is much better passing and running than Manuel; Crabtree, Johnson, Boldin, and Davis are a tough set of receivers to defend. There defense is weaker without Smith, Bowman, and Whitner, but still very good. We have too many weapons t…
