For those lucky few who can make it to training camp, or tonight's practice at Soldier Field, there are some question marks on the roster that I haven't yet heard much about. TE…. is there anyone looking like a decent backup to Martellus Bennett? I haven't seen or heard much about Rosario or any of the others at this position. Backup RB…seen some news here and there about this competition but it doesn't sound as if anyone has stood out yet. Hi guys and ladies, I went out to T.C. Monday and came away optimistic about our defense. The players who really stood out were Lamarr Houston, Hayden, Fuller, and on offense wr's Williams and Wilson. It's the second day of pads and still early in T.C. so take for what it's worth. If a player decides to hold out a entire season, what is his status the following season? Does he still owe the team work for the previous year? Does it matter how many years of service? Also does it matter if it's the final year of a contract? Gurus needed!:

The great Brian Urlacher was on the Score yesterday. In an interview, he was talking about how good the Packers are going to be with the addition of Julius Peppers. With all the years of being paid well from the Bears and all the catering they did to him,he keeps taking shots at them because of the failed last contract. As far as Im concerned he's quite a jerk with sour grapes attitude he carries.

The battle for LB is clearly going to be the most competitive position battle in training camp. I put the battle for safety spots right behind it because I think the talent at LB is better overall. We have Briggs as the only player slotted to a role. After him we have D.J. Williams, SMC, Bostic, Greene, and toss in UDFA Christian Jones. Reggie Herring was very complimentary of SMC and Bostic when he recently stated either could have started for him at MLB in Dallas or Houston. DJ says he's not going to the bench without a fight. ESPN's Michael Wright doesn't even have Greene making the final cut with the team preferring Jordan Senn's special teams abilities…

Just noticed this,must just be a camp body. I thought we had depth? Must not like the back of the depth chart for OL.
