http://espn.go.com/blog/chicago-bears/post...of-olb-sam-acho I knew he was sick, but to the point where his contract was terminated? This is odd. [uPDATE] Looks like they expect him to be out a couple of weeks, so as to not have portions of his salary count against the cap (the weeks he is out), they terminated him before Week 1. If they bring him back, he will be paid on a week to week basis. So in the end seems to be a smart fiscal move on the Bears part.

https://chicago.suntimes.com/sports/bears-cutting-olb-sam-acho/ As expected and we gain 2.1mil in cap space.

As expected Acho is back. C. Washington to the IR. Kinda bummed Washington never became anything with all that athletic ability.

Torn pectoral muscle. https://chicago.suntimes.com/sports/bears-sam-acho-out-for-season/ Who gets the call? Irving or Fitts? I think it will be Irving. Fitts needs a lot of work on his pass rushing moves.

I am in the Air Force and stationed overseas. AFN, the broadcasting network for the Armed Forces, has a Viewer's Choice where we pick the game seen overseas. For the last 3 weeks, Bears' fans stationed overseas have been stuck watching the Saints against the Bucs and Browns. Right now the Saints are winning again and I can't take it!!! What I ask of my fellow Bears' fans is go to AFN Fan's Choice and vote for the Bears vs Bills. This would allow all the Bears' fans serving our country to watch them. I thank you for your time and your vote. Let's do this the Chicago way and vote early and vote often. --BearsFan74

Does anyone else think its weird that Grossman hasnt been IRed yet or that we havent signed anyone else? Are we only carrying Orton and Griese for this game? I wonder if theres any chance Grossman isnt done for the season. We havent gotten any kind of description or timeline of his injury that I know of.

Not terrible. I would prefer to see a return man somewhere in there, but otherwise I could live with it. http://wgnradio.com/2016/02/08/hoge-2016-b...mock-draft-1-0/

Adams tweet: A sincere thank you to the Bears organization and fans for the opportunity to represent a first class franchise and city..one last #BearDown Some cap savings and hopefully we can find an improvement.

Great article of Bears chances. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/9722208...in-and-bear-it-

According to schefter I believe has been put on the IR hoping he can return later in the year. Another disappointment of Pace's draft picks

Not gonna post any links, no stories, just my opinion however childish or uninsiteful it may be... I seriously hate you

Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter · 4h Major questions about Bears WRs, Marshall and Jeffery. One source said "75 percent" sure neither plays tonight. Bears signed two PS WRs Sat. https://twitter.com/adamschefter

Here is my mock draft scenario, and based on all mock drafts, none of my picks will be correct, however, it would be nice to address these positions: 1. Bears trade #20 to SF for #31, #74 (Rd3), and #157 (Rd5) so SF can draft Kenny Vaccaro at #20. 2. Bears trade #31 and #188 to Philly for #35 (Rd2) and #101 (Rd4) who were looking to move into the late first. 35 (2) - Arthur Brown, LB 50 (2) - Kyle Long, OT (Original Pick: David Amerson, CB) 74 (3) - Brian Schwenke, OC 101 (4) - Marquise Goodwin, WR 117 (4) - Logan Ryan, CB (Original Pick: Brennan Williams, OT) 153 (5) - Zac Dysert, QB 157 (5) - Bennie Logan, DT

1st Round - #20 - Kyle Long, OG, Oregon - Grade: B, I thought this was a little early for Long, but I still love that he is on our team. He is going to bring a little attitude to the line with Slauson. I can see this grade moving up to an A by the end of the season, but right now I will stick with a B because I though a trade down and picking up two players would be better value than just one pick. 2nd Round - #50 - Jon Bostic, LB, Florida - Grade: C+, I felt like this was another reach at #50, but without a 3rd rounder, they didn’t have many other options. I like Bostic, I just felt of all the picks, this one was the biggest reach. For me, it is a C+ as it fills…

Seems like he might have a lot of positives Pace tends to like... http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/...t-lsus-pro-day/ Jamal Adams runs much faster at LSU’s pro day Posted by Darin Gantt on April 5, 2017, 11:58 AM EDT Getty Images Leonard Fournette’s weight isn’t the only thing that’s gone way down since the Scouting Combine. According to Mike Mayock of the NFL Network, LSU safety Jamal Adams ran his 40-yard dash in 4.38 seconds. That’s impressive on its own, but it’s amazing considering he ran a 4.56 in Indianapolis a month ago. The clocks on campus were showing a 4.33 time for Adams but there’s traditionally some home-cooking…

But of course!!! http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/be...bside27.article Peace

Cowboys | Team reaches long-term agreement with Adams Thu, 28 Feb 2008 15:51:22 -0800 The Dallas Cowboys reached a long-term agreement with OT Flozell Adams Thursday, Feb. 28, which means Adams will likely end his career as a Cowboy. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

There are reports that OT prospect Mike Adams tested positive at the Combine for Marijuana. This is after being arrested in 2009 for possessing drug paraphenalia and add this to the receiving improper benefits suspension and we have what should be a guy with major character issues. He should not only drop out of the first round but he should be pulled off a few draft boards all together.

Players are dropping like flies, but fortunately not people we were chasing. We need to add a free safety even if we draft one in the first three rounds. We have no depth there. Phillips is still out there, the best rated among the free agent safeties. Also Sean Jones has got some good reviews which has to be better than what we have. Phillips has been a SS but has played the free safety when he first got in the league. The problem is these guys will be gone if Jerry GM is waiting to get a good money deal from them two. Also do you think we could bring some CBs in and move them or Graham to FS? Bodden/Lions, Bartell/Rams or McFadden/Pitsb are still out there to be had. …

Apparently Marrone asked for an extension and was told no, so he opted out (and gets to keep $4 mil), wow: https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/550429987732750336 http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2308254...ts-and-reaction This just adds another team to the HC hunt, unless he decides to go to one of the other teams, then it would be a wash.
