Broke my back (T11&12) on May 11. Just released from rehab center to continue recovery at home. In too much pain to sit in this damn brace long enough to catch up on what I have missed in regards to recent developments of our Bears. Can you give me an update on what I've missed out on? Listening to ESPN Radio today, and McShay was on and talking QBs. He was asked if the bears would consider a QB at 14. He then talked about how it has been rumored for a while that a team in the teens was considering Henne. He went on to talk about how he separately knew that Chicago is in fact very high on Henne. Said they/we love his size and arm strength. Also mentioned our liking Flacco. He is not predicting Chicago will take Henne at 14, but he and Kiper are both talking about how they keep hearing about a team in the teens who is looking at QB that few realize. 8 carries and 2 receptions thru 4 weeks. In his last 2 seasons, he was averaging over 50 yards per game, that's down to 4. He clearly has been relegated to RB3/4, and if not for injuries to Blasingame and Homer, might've been a healthy scratch the last two weeks. He did not have an offensive snap against the Rams. As far as I can tell, that was only the 2nd time in his career that he suited up for a game and didn't get a touch (carry, reception, or KR). When does Mel Tucker join the line? If not, then Emery needs to be fired. An asinine plan to keep the defensive scheme completely intact. Finding a willing coach was even worse. Hindsight is 20-20 but that plan blew chunks. Start over, don't blow another season. Even with new players coming in the draft and FA, it seemed pretty clear that Tucker and his crew can't teach. So why trust them with the next crew?
