I am started to get addicted to dreaming of drafting people we might get. This is another one I did, and the first two picks were awesome(I realize it isnt realistic) The 3rd pick was staring me in the face, and I couldnt help but remember a Ohio State game I watched and Hyde kicked ass. I had to take him. http://fanspeak.com/ontheclock/draft.php?d=gukpeu

Henry Melton ‏@HenMel 5m Thank you chicago for the best 5 years of my life!.... I can't wait to begin the next chapter of my life... With a star on my helmet. Well damn. I still like the idea of bringing in Pat Sims. He's not quite the penetrater Melton is but he is capable of pushing the pocket and he's solid against the run. If they don't sign a guy I'm really hoping Donald falls. Jerrnigan would be nice but we need a guy who's gonna get after the QB.

ESPNChiBears Jeff Dickerson #Bears agree to terms on one-year deals with safeties Craig Steltz and Danny McCray.

Thought I heard on the Score that Ear Bennett was asked to take a cut and declined so he has been released; $2.4 mil cap savings.

Haven't been able to verify yet.

Yeah, she's hot, but she's an idiot. http://www.salon.com/2014/03/17/mtv_star_k...dium=socialflow This is probably not the right forum (?) but it's something that potentially affects Cutler vis a vis his emotional well-being after his child is not protected from potentially lethal diseases. Even more surprising considering Jay's diabetes.

ESPNChiBears Jeff Dickerson Filed to http://t.co/mnFHigRV1y: #Bears ask KR/WR Eric Weems to take pay cut. Will be released if he declines, per sources.

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/salary-cap-no...00805--nfl.html Unless we want to restructure some of those convertible deals, we are done in FA.

mikecwright Michael C. Wright RT @AlbertBreer: Possible reunion? DE Israel Idonije will visit the Bears tomorrow. He was with Chicago for nine years (2004-12). I wouldn't mind this.

First wave of FA is over. According to NFL Network 50 (or more) of the top 100 FA have signed with teams. He has three teams interested in him: Dallas, Seattle, and Minn. The Cowboys do not have a lot of cap space and still have a few spots to fill. Here Melton has tons of opportunity for little money. The Vikings have cap space but Melton either got no contract or didn't like what they said. Based on reports it was no contract offer. On top of that the Vikings have Floyd at the 3T spot so Melton is going to be a backup and I can't see the Vikings spending big on Melton now. Little opportunity for likely medium money. Seattle has opportunity an…

Hope he continues to age. Geesh...

Say it ain't so

Seems like the staff of around the league on nfl network likes what Emery is doing http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap200000033...signings-so-far

Charles Tillman has re-signed with the#Bears on a one-year deal, I'm told. Somewhat of a surprise but pleasant one, given his legacy there

Our top 3 signings were all seen as "+0.5: Common sense shines through" Lamarr Houston (DE) to Bears: 5-year, $35m with $15m guaranteed The Bears’ defense needed help and in Houston they have added a versatile and productive defensive lineman in the hope of reinvigorating a unit that struggled in 2013. Houston’s top quality run defense (+14.9 in 2013) will be a welcome boost though he isn’t quite the top-drawer pass rusher that they might be hoping for. That, however, is reflected in his price tag and he will be a solid and productive contributor so long as the Bears don’t expect him to turn around their pass rush single-handedly. If deployed correctly this has the…

Retweeted by Michael C. Wright Tom Pelissero ‏@TomPelissero 2m Willie Young agreed to a 3-year, $9M deal with #Bears that included a $2M signing bonus and $3.95M total guaranteed. I know a few guys here liked him, I wasn't that big a fan, but he's no doubt a starter in this league. It's cheap enough that we could add yet another DE (I want Babin). He's an upgrade over Wootton/SMC so that's a plus. PFF had this to say about him Willie Young, Edge Defender - Took his chance in 2013 to emerge as a starting caliber defensive end, really developing his game into someone you can trust to play more than just a situational role. 9. Willie Y…

Now that we've signed special teams like always, this is a great draft 1. Dix - S 2. Roberson - CB 3. A. Johnson - DT 4. J. Sumwalt - ILB 5. D. Fales - QB
