The field has been in shit condition since they took the astroturf away. Ridliculous amount of money paid for sod. Paying for the synthetic would pay for it self after 2 go arounds with replacing the sod.

He was released by the Giants from injured reserve but it would appear he may be healthy considering he was out doing workouts. If he is indeed healthy he could be a huge addition to help with return duties.

Crazy to think about how the 2017 and now the 2018 draft will play out. Cleveland passes on Trubisky and Watson, but gets the Texans 1st rounder this year. No way they envisioned the Texans would be worse and their rookie QB lost for the year with an injury. The Texans look to be in bad shape. They do not have a 1st rounder, and who knows what Watson looks like after injury. Cleveland looks bad on one hand (for passing on Tru and Watson) but brilliant on the other hand, now having two top 5 picks (which they will ultimately mess up). Best I can tell only three maybe four players on the bears roster who might really be on the team at start of season are over 30.

I have to eat a bit of crow here, as I have been slow to see that BABICH has to go! The defense sucks! 2013 Schedule HOME GB, MIN, DET, DAL, NYG, BAL, CIN, NO AWAY GB, MIN, DET, PHI, WAS, CLE, PIT, STL To me this seems like an incredibly tough schedule. The NFC East and AFC North are both tough divisions top to bottom.

As long as we have Turner and Babich running the O and the D we will be hurting. It seem that neither can make half time adjustments or change the scheme on the fly. On offense we run the same old plays no matter what the down and distance is. No thought of using all the weapons you have i.e...Olsen Davis and Clark at TE. When was the last time you saw the 3 TE set with Davis and Olsen at receiving TE? Jones and Forte in the backfield together? Hester is the semi-wildcat? On defense we need to start someone that really wants to play and stop going through the motions. I havent heard one report about anyone from the personnel side of the Saints being interviewed or considered for a job. I find that weird. For a team that drafts well, can run the ball downhill and throw it all over the yard...why arent the Bears sniffing around them? Note: Not that I think it matters, the Bears seem destined and determined to hire a scrub. So the question may be rhetorical for the Bears organization.

Comcast Sports Net reports that the Bears have named Greg Olsen the starter at TE. From what I saw at TC this is not surprising and its nothing against Des Clark(67 starts in a row) its just that Olsen has improved more each year and looks ready to blossom.
