Im at a loss thinking about how sad our WR corp. is. Not one veteran that accomplished anything at the position. I know its beating a dead horse but who gets the ball on 3rd and 7 that you actually have confidence in to catch it?

There is not much to get excited about but if he is healthy Silatolu will provide very good competition for the interior line. I don't know the extent of his last knee injury or even if it was the same knee as his first injury. I have a feeling this SF game will determine a lot. A loss should make them sellers. However, even with a win, I would still look to move any of the following players: 1. ARob - The Bears will get a 2023 comp pick for him, probably a 3rd or 4th, but that can be negated by acquiring FAs, so the guaranteed compensation is thru a trade now. This is excellent news. We really are going to be a team for several years. Edwards has been playing very well. I wonder how long Edmunds will stick around, we are paying him a fortune. He's got all the measurables, but his production has been lacking. Maybe the new scheme and coaches will unlock him, otherwise, his days could be numbered - probably after this year. It gets very cheap to cut him next year.

One guy whose opinion I trust on WRs is Steve Smith. If he says 4 or 5 teams are going to take Aiyuk in the first round I believe it will happen. Even if not it would seem he'll be gone before we pick at 43. I wanted one of Reagor or Aiyuk in that spot. We'll see how it shakes it. Today at his news conference Emery talked about he was comfortable with 6 players to take with his 14th pick. so here is my list, I think he has Donald- no brainer, but the best DT in the draft probably wont be there at 14-history tells us that HaHa and Pryor are two high rated Ss that fill a need Gilbert and I believe Fuller are the CBs that is on his list. I think Fuller instead of Dennard because he is closer of a Tillman like CB. And the last is C.J. Mosely-He is a high rated LB that I think Emery will consider taking with our 14th pick.
