Article about the wrap up session in training camp I would have loved to have seen this: KJ must have hit Okwo like a Mack Truck to knock his mouthpiece out. I liked what I saw in Forte last week and like what I am hearing about KJ. Could be a dynamite duo!

Last year the offense was below average and the defense was horrible. Going into the draft it seems that anything right now is possible. I'm seeing DB, WR, DE, LB, S, everything possible. Since they're switching to a 3-4, it's difficult to know what any of the guys on the roster can/will do. -The number of potential OLB/ILB combos is borderline obscene. -I happen to think the front three will be figured out between Houston, Ferguson, Ratliff, Sutton, and Allen, especially since Ratliff has been specifically mentioned as being important in plans. -Still need plenty of defensive backfield help. Let me preface this by saying: 1. I live in Central Illinois where everyone is a Bear fan. I don't have to deal with a jack-ass Packer neighbor, co-workers, etc.. 2. If the Packers win it gives the Bears some credibility that they lost to the champs . . . and it's real tough for a champ to repeat which makes next slightly easier Since it appears it will be Pittsburgh, I find it impossible to root for a team that has won it twice in the last decade and are QB'ed by an alleged rapist. Aside from being the Bears #1 rivals, I have no grudge against them this time of year.

Trade Hester and Olsen and use the value you get to upgrade the line of scrimmage. - Hester will never be much better than he is now and, at this point, he is at best a #2 receiver. He needs to be a slot receiver and I see Knox as the exact same player who is younger with more upside as a receiver. - Olsen is an ok receiving TE (should be much better) who is a horrible blocker. I would rather get K Davis on the field more. Further, it seems Cutler zeros in on him on every play. Peace

i'll go ahead and come out and say I want McNabb in the offseason. We can draft a qb in the 4th or 5th round. With the first pick, we have to get a skilled player, if that's wr or rb, but not a qb. Whoever is at the top of the board, we draft. We could address the o-line in free agency. Went back and watched some of his film, dude can play. He's an athlete and when I read more about his off-the field issues, the bigger concerns are of him just being a unique spirit, not being a guy with a major issue. He did have one huge mistake, but he's a massive man who is immensley athletic. I'm not advocating taking him @ 11, but I am advocating him as a no brainer in the 2nd round (if he is there) and I'd go as far as saying I'd be willing to either move down later in the 1st (to get him) or move up from the 2nd to get him. Since the Bears moved up and invested everything for the Trubisky pick, that signals to me a few things: 1. Pace is staking his job on this pick. 2. Trubisky will be given every possible chance to win the job. 3. Trubisky absolutely will be starting next year, regardless of how well Glennon does. 4. First, I want to let everyone know it was nothing anyone said directly that caused me to step away for awhile especially not Mad. I enjoy the arguments we have on the board. Someone mentioned it wasn't the negativity but the overreaction we see here and I think they were right. I simply needed to step away for a while to clear my perspective. With no running game, one of the worst offensive lines in the league, and no real go to guy, you can't expect the QB to do much. This draft should consist of at least 2 first day OLinemen and we need to sign Faneca. Before I was against this idea, but it needs to be done. Moose can stay, only because the majority of his contract has been paid and he is still a decent target. Berrian, I want to see kept but if we sign Faneca the choice is between him and Briggs, and Briggs plays a much more important role then Berrian.

The wind has completely been taken out of my sails... I'm sure it'll pass, but this loss is one of the most wrenching ones I can ever recall. It just served as a harbringer of "no hope/no future". I'm watching Chicago Tribune Live right now and there talking about Chad Johnson and how he's going to be available this offseason. It's been talked about before, but seeing how pathetic our WR corps is right now, do you feel like going after a guy like Ocho Cinco who could potentially raise our team to the next level but also destroy the locker room? Hester needs to come off kickoffs. He has 2 fumbles so far this yr and simply does not look the same. Personally, I think he simply cannot handle all the responsibilities given to him. Leave him on punt returns but give Wolfe or Manning the kickoff duties going forward. Peace

I don't want to pay an arm and a leg and have hoped to get lucky on the individual game sale for San Fran but being the first game in the new stadium, obviously high demand.
