Looking at some players that will make the PS this year I figure 2 to be a shoe in is Kinder and Knox. He showed flashes but Igeslias have shown more. So I figure the Bears will keep Rideau, DA, Hester, Bennet igeslias and Davis. But that only if Davis sticks, If released , look for Knox to make the roster. Any thoughts?

For the last couple years there has been a split on this board about what the Bears offense needed. One side said big WR, the other side said OL. Well, I know it's early, and this may be a bit premature, but I believe the question appears to have been answered. The Bears have the WR talent that some were alredy saying was potentially one of the best in the league. Most would say the WR talent is top ten. What did top ten WR talent and franchise QB do yesterday with horrible OL play? It doesn't matter how many toys you give Jay Cutler if you can't protect him. This is true for any QB, but it's particularly true with Cutler.

I think about this every year. Go all out on one side of the ball, and drastically improve the unit. This year, do it on defense and you have a chance of creating the best D in the NFL. But does it help the team enough? Do it on offense, and you could potentially bring up the level enough to complement the impressive D. ALL OFFENSE 1. The NFL has changed in recent years since the "gotta make a football move" rule after a catch. I'm not sure if that verbage of the rule still exists, but I nevertheless haven't been a fan of whatever form of this rule we've had in recent years. I've never liked the rule because I see it time and again taking away legit forced fumbles because the player only took a step and a half after the catch or some nonesense...whatever, apparently not enough to clearly show maintained possesion in today's NFL. I have, however, understood that the rule was at least intended to eliminate cheap fumbles that come only an instant after the receiver controls the ball, so implemented …

Browns just cut Gordon, is he worth the trouble for a buy-low flier? Will someone pay him? To me, his drug issues scare me away and I'm sure that's what pushed the Browns over the edge. Worth the discussion, at least.
