So Allen Robinson is who we thought he was. Has anyone else watch the Rams games? He is literally jogging routes out there and barely blocks the refs. In 4 games, he has 9 receptions and 95 yards and is on pace for 38 receptions and 400 yds receiving. I am sure it will go up but not that much. He will probably end up with a season similar to last season's loaf-a-thon. The sad part is he would lead the Bears in receptions! That is how bad the passing attack has been. Somewhere Dowell Loggains is smiling.

Reading from more and more sources that Minny is close to a deal for Jared (not of the Subway commercials) Allen. Before anyone gets their panties in a wad about why I would post this on a bears forum, let me make two points. One. This is further reason to draft OL. They already have a very strong interior w/ Kevin and Pat Williams. The addition of Allen could give Minny a very, very strong DL. What's everyone doing for opening day? Looking for gameday rituals/ drink of choice for Bears games/ food you make for game time. Ill start: Starting Friday ill prepare about 9 slabs of Baby Back with a rub past down from my old man. Saturday ill smoke them for about 6 to 7 hours. Saturday night I pack everything and prepare everything else. Coolers will have about 8 to 10 cases of beer, Coors light and miller lite, bottle of Jameson and vodka. According to Joe Everett from rookiedraft.com, Alshon Jeffery is working out in Indianapolis. He weighed in at 250 pounds and he ran a 4.88 40. YUCK.

I know this isn’t the soft tissue injury that he had with us that caused him to miss time that could have been attributed to him not being in football shape but as per NFL.COM he hasn't recovered from his shoulder surgery. Still glad we decided to move on from him.
