He had two points today: 1. He's almost positive Hanie will be making his first career start on Sunday. 2. Hub was saying that they couldn't do 3 step drops because the receivers can't be trusted. Cutler had to move Hester on many plays because he was lined up on the wrong side. He flat out did not trust that the receivers would be where they were supposed to be.

I was very critical of Jay during & after the Giants game but after my rewatch & reading the news since it seems he played most of the game concussed. Not a lot a QB can do when he has no idea whats going on. My only question now is if I could spot it watching on telly why didn't the coaches/doctors not pull him straight away??

I'm not really sure there's much else to say. Apart form the dazzling show that Hester put on to tie the record. Seriously, he deserves major props for his efforts this year on returns. Everyone else on this team needs to check their heart and watch game film of Payton. Including our dipsh#t coaching staff and mangement. Every last one involved in this team... This team is gutless. Heartless. And stupid. Has the clock struck twelve? I think so...

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/writ...-9-3/index.html NFL Power Rankings (cont.) 21 Last Week: 17 Chicago Bears (4-3) The Bears are our lowest-ranked winning team, and they're even beneath .500-club members like Oakland, St. Louis and Washington, as well as the losing Chargers. It's the two home losses to Seattle and Washington, and the fortunate season-opening win at home against the Calvin Johnson-led Lions that I can't ignore. But a win this week against Buffalo, in Toronto -- still can't get used to that one -- and Chicago will force us to reconsider its standing. Not a ton, mind you. But some upward adjustment will be made. Promise, Bears f…

After a day of pondering the game... 1. Hester is such a joy to watch! So glad he's back taking kickoffs like so many of us have been screaming for... He is a difference maker there. 2. Cutler had a big boy game. He made a bad mistake in the red zone, but made up for it with pretty much flawless decision making other than that. The playaction to Kellen was a thing of beauty. 3. The D looks good. They are oportunistic. Pretty much the pedigree that Smith was hired on. I still worry about the big gaffe by the safteies that led to a TD and a PI. I still would like a little more pressure on the QB... But overall, these guys are playing good defensi…

  15. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...man-than-i-was/ Deion Sanders: Devin Hester is a better return man than I was Posted by Michael David Smith on December 21, 2010, 4:07 PM EST Deion Sanders was a great football player, and he’s not shy about saying so: When Sanders was named the 34th best player in NFL history, he was furious, saying it was insulting that anyone could think 33 players were better than him. So it says a lot that Sanders is willing to proclaim Devin Hester a better return man than he was — and the best return man in NFL history. Sanders tweeted on Monday night that Hester is the greatest returner of all time, and he expanded on…

http://bearingthenews.com/?p=337 Game Comments: Bears Vs. Packers, January 2, 2011 Posted on January 3, 2011 by Tom Shannon Defense • The Bears defense came out with all of the starters and they apparently came to play. For the most part they played fast and down hill. • The defense came out mixing it up and blitzing early. They did less blitzing as the game wore on. • The Bear defense had a bit of a problem when the Packer offense played their 22 personnel (2 backs, 2 wide receivers). They couldn’t stop the run out of this formation without an eighth guy in the box but they also didn’t like leaving their corners in single high man coverage. …

Here are a few reasons the Bears can play the disrespect card: 1. Split series, yet everyone is picking GB 2. The Packers win was a must-win, and the the Bears had nothing to play for...yet it was close. 3. Remind me again, who won the NFC North? 4. Playing at home. 5. Many saying Cutler is the fourth best QB left. 6. People are fellating the GB defense, but barely mentioning how the Bears defense completely shut down the Packers in the last game. 7. Lot more talk about the flowing locks of Matthews instead of the bald head of Urlacher. 8. Early game instead of the primetime game. 9. The Packers are the official favorite, getting 3 points 1…
