So, my draft was last week and I'm just curious on what you guys think of my draft... i think it turned out really really good for me... here it is by round keep in mind i had the last pick: Rd1. Who's on the bubble? Who is in? Who is out? Who needs to earn a job in the next 10 days? Training camp is over and there's just a little over a week left before the roster gets cut down so let's start the debate. Among the DBS my biggest question mark is on Brandon Hardin....I haven't seen or heard anything of him so far. Right now I'm thinking he does not make our final roster. He has two games to turn that around and really needs to show up. If he doesn't will Emery cut one of his first draft picks after just one season? Does anyone have the Bears app? If not, I believe they have the same things online. Anyway, the last 2 weeks, I've noticed that the pictures they tweet of pre and postgame behind the scene things are really awesome. Last week, they had Trestman and Cutler hugging in one and shaking hands in another. From yesterday's, there's one of him and Cutler sitting in Cutler's locker just talking in what looks like a potentially almost-empty locker room. Another has him shaking hands with Jeffery. With the off week and injuries I looked at the 2014 draft. Walters has us drafting a CB.DT,then a QB names Fales from SJS. A west coast type QB: accurate, decent arm, some mobilty. Sounds like they got the positions right, the QB sounds interesting.

the niners cut asomugha or will soon. he is 32 years old but still could possibly contribute to our defense. put him in at CB and move peanut to FS. he has to have better speed than an injured peanut and we could move peanut to free safety where his lack of speed would not be as critical. if i was emery i would take a long look at this guy.

We could use some more fight inside especially the way our online got pushed around by suh and fairly yesterday. one thing for sure if Ritchie was with the bears the past few years Webb would have not been a problem because he would have quit.

After the loss on Sunday I did my customary exhale that bear's fans know too well. That exhale that means, "I'm done, the bears are done/what happened to all the optimism from the offseason/why do I do this to myself every year." I know that is a lot to fit into an exhale but it's there. Then I saw a series of Christmas list's that my kids made and I had a change of heart. I found a seedling of faith and I drank the kool aid and began the speculation. There are 4 winable games on the schedule and the lions can lose two. They just lost two winable games in a row. I can feel the momentum building.

I think our top priority this off season is to identify and add a couple of leader types on the defense. As much as I think letting Urlacher go was needed , we did miss his leadership. Him being here probably wouldnt have made much difference in our final record, but he would have put the young players in a better place to succeed. Briggs,IMO, isnt a team leader, he is a good player with a big mouth. When he came back from injury, he was out of shape and team leaders dont do that. Tillman and Peppers, lead by example, not inspiration to the people that needed guidance. Peanut was hurt almost all year, and Peppers has lost a step. He had many games he just didnt show up. …
