MJD, i was just joking... didnt mean i would actually murder you and your family. You just rest your knee til next year This is why people have no merit anymore. All these assholes should not be allowed to do this garbage anymore. 30yo men dont need to be tweeting, nor does anyone else. http://www.chicagobreakingsports.com/2011/...th-threats.html

All - Apologies for the site outage. We should slowly be coming back online. The server the site sits on blew-up and DNS issues came through, which take a while to get resolved (as there were a variety of underlying domains behind the actual server). Everyone should start seeing the site come back online over the next 24 hours. Apologies for the outage and it will be good to start talking football (and thankfully everything is online prior to the 1st preseason game)!!!

Well what do you think about this, we offered our starting center (#57) 4 million to play this year and he wanted more.....so he signs with the Saints for 2 million.....but now he is the second string center....go figure

Jeff Dickerson, ESPN, tweeted that Marcus Harrison was taken off NFLI, and will practice today. As quick as that went, it seems to me the staff was making a statement to the kid.

New pictures of Dexter show a slimmer player, closer to 280ish than last years 312. I wonder if Allen is going to switch him to DE, and that increases our need for a DT in the draft. Interesting.

When the Bears play the Falcons Jay Cutler will be the color analyst for the game on FOX.

It's that time of year again, kids, where I say "let's get TO" and only a few agree with me. This time around Wilbon agrees with me and makes some very good points. http://espn.go.com/chicago/nfl/story/_/id/...e-terrell-owens BTW - 72 catches, 900+ yards, 9TDs last year in less than a full season for the miserable Bengals franchise. And he's not a better option than Sanzenbacher, Williams, Bennett, Knox, or Hester?! C'mon. At the very least Angelo should be making a pitch. And if TO causes problems, no harm done. Cut him. Doesn't fit the system? Who cares?! Most of you don't like it anyway, and it's plainly obvious that Martz is not even running the…

In the event that Urlacher finishes the season with the bad knee who would you look to draft, sign in FA or trade for to replace him in the middle?

Edge - Young*, Howell*, Parker*, Jacas, Thomas DT - McDonald*, Miller, Hunter LB - Allen*, Rodriguez, Hill Jr CB - McCoy*, Terrell*, Hood*, Ponds, Cisse IOL - Bisontis, Pregnon A lot of impact guys still left on the board. The Bears should be able to get 1, if not 2 of the guys listed, and most are top 55 rated players. The guys with asterisks had 1st round or early 2nd round projections.

I don't pay attention to the salary cap stuff. Never cared to fully understand it. What's the breakdown of how Cutler affects the Bears? If he's traded, how does that affect the team's salary cap? What if he's released? I'm just wondering if his salary will be a reason teams decide not to talk to the Bears.

?????????????????????????????????????????????? IM SO DISSAPOITED I came to the site expecting a REX IS INJURED or BENSON CUT thread. Didn't you realise what day yesterday was???

I would just like to note that Tommy Harris certainly seems to be a player that the Bears can be proud of, and one that us fans should get behind. Besides his obvious physical skills, his behaviour off the field is consistent with what one would would expect of a player making millions of dollars. What a refreshing change from idiots who have children out of wedlock and get their private lives smeared all over town, leave their Lambo crashed on the side of the highway and initially claim it was stolen, and make profane and arrogant comments via the media about the Bears organization. I would rather lose than see punks like that play for the Bears. I am sick to d…

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=5057937 Could be the veteran QB the Bears need. He's got plenty of experience and proven performance with Martz's system.

any interest.. Looks like Jimmy Graham 6'7. 260 11TDs would love a guy who has some passion...

I know this won't be a popular thought, but I would rather see the Bears bring back Martz as OC than to put Cutler and the offense through another learning curve. I see no reason to install another offense when Lovie only has 2 years left on contract. We have an good defense & special teams, but a defecient offense. No matter what/who's system we run, it will always be defecient unless we invest more into it (and many have said this even back in the Grossman/Benson days) Martz's offense can actually be the missing piece to improve Lovies D if we can just get the right personal in it. Lovies D is made to excel when playing with a lead, which he mentions 17pt…

I’m a softie for stories like this. Seems appropriate for the holiday season. Encouraging to see so many members of the team to help push the positive juju for this boy.

Tarik Cohen makes the list of rookies he thinks will have an impact this year. http://www.nfl.com/photoessays/0ap30000008...timpact-rookies
