But this is the first draft (so far...and really through 3 rounds is the benchmark anyway) I can recall where no one here is really complaining. All the picks make sense. And moreso, they look outstanding. Sure, there may have been a guy or 2 someone here would have preferred...but the 4 guys we got are just excellent on paper.

So I just got this game yesterday and have been playing it for a while. There is a drastic difference between this year's game and last year's. They have changed the pace of the game to slow it down to make it seem realistic. It takes a while to get used to but I think it did the game well. The Bears will part ways with back-up quarterback Caleb Hanie and who would be a great cheap option? One site says the the Bears might look at a proven vet(I didn't say star) like Orton, Garard or even Grossman. Yes I know but it was a thought....lol. Grossman did get us to the Superbowl at least.

Sorry, with free agency only 3 hours away I had to say it. So the guy isn't a guarantee, what player ever is. The guy has talent. Look at the loss to Minny last year. Their offense stunk. Well, except for an explosive RB that won that game for them. With the potential WR's and returning qb's, we need a damn good RB. Let's work on the line, get a running game to compliment the D, and build the rest through the draft.

I know that a big name would be nice, but I'm not sure he's wrong here; everyone on reading this can name 3-4 positions where the Bears could use either one more starter or legitimate depth.

Davis but from what I read on Waters, he could be a good addition. Solid and familiar. However (and the other side of the coin) I recall this type of talk about Orlando Pace and well....you recall how that went. I read the part of how Waters' phone may not be ringing and with Davis still not signed I have to believe many teams are just waiting for cuts (say just before Preseason game 4) to make some last minute roster adjustments.
