It doesn't look like the Texans are going to be able to franchise him, so the possibility of him leaving becomes significantly greater. Obviously the Bears have some of their own issues, as far as long term contracts are concerned, and I'm not sure what there money situation looks like for next season, but that would be quite a splash to sign this guy.

Graham may fill the Nickle role which, IMHO, he did pretty good in last week. Speaking of Moore. Read he was fined for the dust up with Stafford. Hope there is more to come, all things being equal. (short and sweet this time) 1. In terms of the offense, there isn't much to say. It's hard to judge because they were pretty much handed a 34-6 lead. 2. The OL, though, had some rough patches. It has been noted that the bears have been playing alot more man press the last couple of weeks which has led to a better performance. Was this true against the Lions as in another post i cant remember much of the game due to the high level of celebrations!!! Did the Bears use the man press against the Packers earlier this year? Watching the Packers last night their timing on O is off the charts, wouldnt the man press help distrupt their timing if possible?

1. Melvin Ingram, DE, South Carolina ---This is a typical Lovie pick. He's a guy who could play some DT as well as DE; he's flying up draft boards. Maybe I didn't pay much attention to it before because I never saw him play, but I just took a look at his numbers and was shaking my head as to how they equate him into Hall of Fame status. Somebody help me out here. He plays 7 seasons, only rushes for over 1000 yards twice, he wasn't that effective in the passing game, and only had 7 150+ yard games in his career. Matt Forte has already doubled that. I know they only played 14 games during that era and he did some great things on special teams but to me, Sayers numbers are not even close to Hall of Fame worthy. Is Forte going to eclipse Sayers as the 2nd best Bears running back before his career is over? That might actu…

Well this sucks.. Looks like he's going to be out a while if he's already having surgery now. Didn't see the play he injured it on but now with Carimi out for atleast the next couple weeks, it looks like its Edwin Williams or bust..

Lions visit Chicago for the late game on Sunday. Huge playoff implication matchup, esp. for the Bears. Lose, and the team is 5-4 and the Lions hold the head to head tiebreaker, meaning the Bears might well need 11 wins to make the playoffs...leaving them having to go 6-1 in their last 7 including a trip to Lambeau. Win, and the road to the playoffs opens up. Big game.
