The way the rules favor QB's, and recievers, for more points, might be good for us if we committe ourselves to the run game. Since most defenses are preparing for this pass happy league in games and practice, we might have an advantage if we can keep running the ball like last week. Most teams might be more prepared for the pass than the run. So lets run at least 30 times against Detroit. Also on defense for us, I am liking the way we play in the red zone the last few years. I was just on nfl.com and they had their can't miss plays of week 4 and Hester's record breaking return wasn't one of them And nothing with Forte also.

The usual blah blah from him ,he praised Hester said that they didn't play defense like they would have like(no sh--) and that they need to clean things up. With 324 yards rushing and 310 receiving and the Bears having a total of 1231 net yards he is clearly the kingpin of this offense. The longer the team waits the more costly it will be for them to sign him. As he spoke to Waddle and Silvy on AM 1000 ESPN todfay he said that even though he is trying to play through it, that its a distraction. Usually I am no fan of Theisman (I think he is way too full of himself) but this time I have to say he has some good points. In essence he is challenging Roy to actually play or move on. Now this is the article I've been waiting to see. It was only a matter of time! Read this short article. At the end it states that Walter Payton's agent (Bud Holmes) that was quoted in the Biography "May seek legal action if he feels he was misquoted."
