The 6-foot-4, 270-pound Walker played four games with the Chicago Rush last season, recording two sacks and an interception. Undrafted out of Illinois in 2009, Walker entered the NFL with the Seattle Seahawks. Hendrickson was an undrafted rookie out of Concordia (Minn.).

Unfortunate news for him, but this is what you get sometimes when drafting college players that have been through a serious injury. I was not too fond of this pick either. Last thing we need is more guys that can't stay on the field from the safety position. Get back and get healthy for next year Mr. Hardin. Also, learn how to tackle properly

The Bears have signed practice squad RB Armando Allen to their active roster. Terms of the contract were not disclosed. they also placed RB Lorenzo Booker on IR and waived LB Patrick Trahan.

The Bears are who we feared they were... All kidding aside, here's what I'm walking away with: 1. The defense played great. The old men did well. Also Shae had some good plays. Tillman especially impressed me. 2. Webb could be the worst OL in the history of the NFL. jason has been 100% right the whole time. 3. Kellen Davis is useless 4. Michael Bush was a great pick up 5. Cutler cannot beat the Packers. I want him benched earlier if he keeps up the mistakes. I don't care that the OL stunk. A lot of it is still on him. I'm over seeing him get killed. Good or bad thing for the Bears? I thought he was essentially ineffective for them and gave them a false sense of security at the running game. He also didn't lose the ball much but that was only a matter of time before he did. I would think this is good for the Bears as the other RB's on GB are all unproven. Hopefully this makes them even more one-dimensional.

So I'm a week ahead on Bears' opponents. Alex Smith was pulled in the first half of San Francisco's game today with concussion-like symptoms. Figure at some point there'll be some questions about his availability for next Sunday as a consequence.

According to profootballtalk.com Jake Long is looking for at least $10 million annually. That would put him up there with dude from Cleveland as highest pd LT whose deal was 7 yrs $84 mil with $48 gtd. How many are willing to give that to him knowing hes had injuries for past 3 yrs now
