I believe things are starting to really come around in the Mike Martz offense. The last two weeks have looked awesome for Cutler, and his numbers since the break are eye-opening. Averages: 16/26 (61%), 203yds at 7.8ypa, for 2 TDs and less than 1 INT. Totals: 129/212, 1623yds, for 16 TDs and 7 INTs. Oh, and by the way, he quietly went over 3000 yards this past weekend. One other note... Before the bye he was getting sacked at an alarming rate of 4.5 sacks per game. After the bye, it's only 2.4 sacks per game. Call it what you want, but it looks like the guys on the offensive side of the ball are doing some coaching.

If God really is a Bears fan....can the Bears have home field advantage, if the Falcons lose and Bears win? Im not sure what the exact format is. The Bears are behind the Falcons by 1 game. They can potentially be tied after this weekend, but the Bears would have zero losses in their division.

Well, after being a lurker here for a long, long time I must say it's time to say hello and ask a question. As a life long Bear fan of over 50 years I never expected the Bears to be in this position this year, and least of all to have the once in a multitude of lifetime chances to eliminate my most hated team! Not only in the playoffs, but the NFC Champianship game at home! I will be physically sick if the Packers win the Halas Trophey next weekend. I'm already "forever" sick that the Superbowl Trophey is called the Lombardi Trophey!!!!! Am I sutpid or do others feel the same way?

When looking at combine stats for Oline does it really matter on the broad jump. People are making a big deal out of Carimi's broad jump but didnt think it was that important considering Oline are never asked to jump.

Owners Reports that the owners have put enough money away to sustain them in the event the entire season is lost. Players State that it's obvious the owners were planning on locking out the players regardless. Mildly ironic that the players are judging the owners for the same thing the NFLPA advised the players to do during the season. Owners Reports that the players didn't even look at the final offer before decertification. Leading owners to believe decertification was in the plans all along. http://www.suntimes.com/sports/4422823-419...k-in-kenya.html Jay Cutler quietly goes about charitable work in Kenya By Sean Jensen sjensen@suntimes.com Mar 21, 2011 01:50PM Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has opted to fly under the NFL radar in the days, weeks and months since he left the NFC title game with a knee injury. But now Cutler’s not even on the continent. Cutler accompanied his girlfriend, Kristin Cavallari, on a trip to Kenya with the non-profit One Kid One World, which focuses on rebuilding schools and providing supplies to students and teachers in Kenya and El Salvador. On March 8, Cavallari posted on her Twitter account that s…

I know there's a thread for workouts attended by the Bears but this one impacts the first round and I think merits it's own place. Lovie in attendance and Marinelli running the workouts. Watching the NFL Network it seems there's a lot of consensus that Austin has worked his way back into the first round. If that's true we have to start thinking he could end up on our roster. I've read where he was supposed to be a top 5 talent before the suspension. Now the flip side of having another guy enter the first round talent wise is that it makes it more likely an offensive player we like falls to us too. Naturally the coaches watched Greg Little workout too. I…

per Bears Chalk Talk with Larry Mayer. What do you guys think? I liked those 1946 throwbacks, but I guess it was a one year deal to make more money off of jersey sales.

Is it just me or does anyone else see a pattern to whom we bring in and at what position they play? Well we need help at OT, DT, LB,SS/FS, WR due to FA or not having the right players to start with. But looking at some of the draft sites and information cloumns I see that we are looking at, talking to or bring in/working out DB'S, LB'S,dt and OL. Makes you wonder if we need a big WR, at all

I was looking at our rosterand came across with the notion that we have alot of beef but little talent. So with that being said out of the 10 players listed on the roster who would you keep and who will you give the pink slip too?
