Small blurb on official Bears site says Piso is out for Thursday's game, who takes his place? I assume Roach, but wonder if anyone has seen anything definitive.

http://blogs.suntimes.com/bears/2010/11/if...ot_miami_f.html If not Chicago, why not Miami for Hester's record? By Neil Hayeson November 16, 2010 7:33 PM | Permalink | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0) Devin Hester prefers to break the NFL record for kick return touchdown at Soldier Field. His second choice would be in front of friends and family in the city where he played college football and near the southeastern Florida community of Riviera Beach where he grew up. Sun Life Stadium, where the Miami Dolphins will host the Bears on Thursday night, also happens to be where Hester returned the opening kickoff of Super Bowl XLI 92 yards for a touchdown, which he …

http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0,3462831.story Brian Urlacher wouldn't bite when asked about a personal milestone he'll likely reach Thursday night. But as someone with a sense of history of the Bears, and specifically their middle linebackers, he knows what it will mean when he passes Hall of Famer Mike Singletary to become the franchise's all-time leading tackler. Urlacher has 1,484 and needs only four to overtake Singletary, a 10-time Pro Bowl selection. So what does it mean for the 32-year-old Urlacher, who's in his 11th season? "It probably means Lance (Briggs) is going to pass me in a couple years," he said. Briggs is fourth on…

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...the-week-award/ Devin Hester wins NFC player of the week award Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on November 16, 2010, 5:40 PM EST In case you missed it, the old Devin Hester is back on returns for the Bears. He returned two kickoffs against the Vikings for 100 years. He had a 42-yard punt return. He even threw in four catches and a 19-yard touchdown. Hester’s work on returns earned him NFC special teams player of the week. “Devin has it going right now,” said coach Lovie Smith. “Guys are doing a great job blocking for him and he’s feeling it as far as thinking he can go the distance each time.” Hester return…

After a day of pondering the game... 1. Hester is such a joy to watch! So glad he's back taking kickoffs like so many of us have been screaming for... He is a difference maker there. 2. Cutler had a big boy game. He made a bad mistake in the red zone, but made up for it with pretty much flawless decision making other than that. The playaction to Kellen was a thing of beauty. 3. The D looks good. They are oportunistic. Pretty much the pedigree that Smith was hired on. I still worry about the big gaffe by the safteies that led to a TD and a PI. I still would like a little more pressure on the QB... But overall, these guys are playing good defensi…

The defense has played phenomenal and the Bears have played hard all season. All I see are people constantly whining about the Bears coaches and you know what, I think they deserve a little bit of credit. We have one of the top ranked defensive units in the league after 2 plus years of having one of the worse defensive units in the league. Job well done guys. Offensively we've made progress each of the past two weeks. Martz has done better and Tice has gotten the oline playing better than it was 3 weeks ago. Hopefully the coaching staff helps the players continue to progress and we see the Bears continue to progress and win!!!!

http://www.theredzone.org/BlogDescription/...er/Default.aspx Chris Mortensen of ESPN reports that Ed Werder is reporting that Brett Favre felt sharp pain in right shoulder on Saturday, perhaps in same biceps area as 2008. Maybe the fact you're a washed-up turd...

The Bears win by 14 points, and probably could have won by 10 more, but what do we hear after the game? 1. What's wrong with Farv 2. Will Farv return 3. Why the locker room isn't the same as last year On top of that, we see two highlights: 1. Farv's TD to Harvin 2. Farv's INT to Briggs I hate how it seems that the Bears never get showcase time on the highlight shows.

1. Cutler was good today. A few bad decisions but overall was good. 2. The OL is starting to gel but they continue to rack up bad penalties. Yuck. 3. Tinoisamoa and Briggs were great today. 4. People need to stop ripping Peppers. He's not getting sacks but he's getting plenty of hurries while getting double teamed. 5. Robbie Gould...yeah, I'm his only hater on here, so I'll let this do the talking. He missed today after a FF on Favre at the end of the half, and missed last week IN A DOME which could've been the difference. 6. Olsen was fantastic today. He caught a TD and had his best game blocking in his career maybe today as well. 7. Devin H…

Getting ready for the Favre LoveFest. I hope we have Aikman at least.

Tribune just reported it. This means it will be BB and a banged up Percy Harvin. Both of which are questionable. You have to expect to see a whole lot of Apete.

Brian Urlacher wants to deliver knockout blow to Minnesota Vikings By Sean Jensenon November 11, 2010 2:25 PM | Permalink | Comments (2) | TrackBacks (0) Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher recognizes that his team has a unique opportunity Sunday at Soldier Field. The rival Minnesota Vikings are coming to town, and the 3-5 team is desperate for a win. Does he want to bury the Vikings? "I hope so," Urlacher said. "I think 3-6 would be tough to come back from. The NFC's wide open but it'd be tough to come back from that. "That said, it's going to be tough to get them to 3-6. They're playing better, they came back and won in the fourth quarter, but we …

I think I know the replies already (similar to when Moss was out there) but for some reason I am intrigued by Al Harris being available. But then again I am a fan of Lovie's too so what kind of credibility do I have right.
