I like the hiring, but it seems like they are replacing Shanny with a much younger Shanny. Both are great offensive minded coaches who are great with QB's and connect with their players. Now, I'm thinking Romeo Crennel as their DC.

So will all these players on the roster. at FS/SS & CB..who do you think we will keep and let go and who has the best chance of beating out some to make the team? I think Hayden,Moore, Bowman, Steltz, Frey and Walters need to be looking over their shoulders at maybe a pink slip coming. The likelihood of me ever topping this draft is null. Enjoy!

I'm sitting in the Vegas airport, waiting for my flight to LA to catch the game... And I'm hungover from a bachelor party last night desperate for food. And there is a kiosk with pizzeria UNO from Chicago! I'm more of a fan of the thin, but right now it's nirvana! Bears!

Since it's a division rival I figured this mattered enough for its own thread.

Anyone care to enlighten me with the inside knowledge of what happened involving the McDome and all other details? http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...,2107439.column

We're are finally at the mid-point of the season. I'm curious what you view as our draft needs this offseason. As it stands now we won't pick until late in the 3rd Rd. Everyone knows Sims will be gone and that gives us $26mil in cap space. I expect a big chunk of that to be used to re-sign Callahan. Beyond that we just sign a few of our own players, or someone of similar talent, to fill out the roster such as RRH, Kush, Bellamy, LS Scales, and maybe Witzman. Likely departures Massie, Amos (I don't think they will pay him and Callahan), and the forementioned Sims. What then are the needs? The most obvious gap is RT if we let Massie leave. I think Coward wil…

With this years FA and the draft so far the Bears are making me sick. Sick with Koolaid flu!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HA HA. We are getting everything we need for a deep run into the playoffs and SuperBowl. We just got Hardin a big 6'3, 222lb, 4.44 Saftey/CB not that he will be starting but put him in against C. Johnson. We got Jeffrey at 6'3 219lb for Cutler to throw to. Marshall and Jeffrey will be in beast mode during games. So there will be no more alligator arms like Knox does, those two will go and get the ball oh and not to mention the red zone with 6'3 Marshall, 6'3 Jeffrey, and 6'7 Davis...WOW!!!!!So this is what we have done so far Marshall = better the R.Williams T…

From https://overthecap.com/compensatory-draft-picks-cancellation-chart/ it looks like we'll be earning three 6th Rd, and one 7th Rd comp picks next year. We signed KPL and Nick Williams last year as player nobody expected anything from yet both played well enough for their new deals to earn us comp picks. Bucs Work Out Veteran OL Miller Posted August 26, 2008 by Roy Cummings Updated Aug 26, 2008 at 04:40 PM TAMPA - The Bucs have been on the lookout for someone to push Donald Penn for the starting left tackle job and they may have found him. Fred Miller, a durable 12-year veteran who has spent his last three seasons with the Chicago Bears, spent part of Tuesday working out for the Bucs at One Buc Place. The Bucs interest in Miller comes in the wake of their decision to let go of veteran Luke Petitgout. Petitgout was struggling to recover from a knee injury and a lingering back problem and had also earned a four-game suspension from the league for …

‘Borrowed’ this story on another site I saw about Roquan Smith. Essentially says of all the players last year who got at least 100 tackles, Roquan “only missed 3.8% of his tackles”. Putting him in the “top three” of the defenders last year. This after he only played 12 games too. Pretty freaking amazing! https://sportsmockery.com/2020/05/roquan-smith-might-be-the-most-disrespected-player-in-the-nfl/

Its been reported that the Vikings have locked up Peterson with a 7 yr deal worth approximately 100 mil and 36 guaranteed. This is a stupid signing for Minnesota. Good for AP but this could make it difficult to resign Forte as he views himself up there just behind CJ2K and AP as far as RB's go. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/6952094/...eal-source-says Albert Breer @AlbertBreer Albert Breer RT @ProFootballTalk: Adrian Peterson is signing a seven-year, $100 million deal with $36 million guaranteed, per league source.
