Jamar Williams took Briggs' spot with the first team, and Corey Graham filled in for Tillman.... Dusty Dvoracek (hand) was held out for the third straight day, and Tommie Harris (knee) was limited. … Punter Glenn Pakulak was released after a poor showing Saturday. … The Bears' rookies will visit the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton…

He'll likely be the Bears #5 WR and play some ST. In other words, he's taking Davis' spot.

There must be something brewing. http://www.chicagobears.com/team/depth-chart.html And let's be honest, none of the backups right now could play LT at a high enough level.

1. A'Shawn Robinson, DE/DT, Alabama 2. Hunter Henry, TE, Arkansas 3. Cardale Jones, QB, Ohio State 4. Tyler Johnstone, OT, Oregon I am not a fan.

McNair helped Cutler prepare for the NFL Posted by Mike Florio on July 9, 2009 9:30 AM If quarterback Jay Cutler becomes the first true franchise quarterback the Bears have had since Sid Luckman, Chicago fans will owe a partial debt of gratitude to the late Steve McNair. Cutler says that McNair went out of his way to help the former Vanderbilt standout prepare for his official debut for NFL scouts. Specifically, McNair helped Cutler get ready for his time at the Senior Bowl, and it was during the week of practice sessions that Cutler accelerated a draft-board climb that stopped at No. 11 overall. McNair's assistance was particularly useful because Cutl…

So, I'm feeling a little ornery right now watching SF dominate the Queens. Reminiscing the trade that brought us Trubisky and losing the 67 and 111 picks, as well as a 2018 third rounder. I haven't looked at who SF drafted with those three picks, but I do know they drafted George Kittle in the 5th round the same draft that we drafted Adam Shaheen in the 2nd. Bet we could've drafted a really good OL with that pick. The consolation kick in the nuts is that if we don't do the trade with SF, we may have gotten stuck with Mahomes. ? Back to my Sailor Jerry

I found this article and thought it worth posting. The Bears have been very quiet regarding FA and with their recent contracts have put us in a spot with no cap room. There is no way that is the long term plan so much will be happening behind the scenes starting, as the article states, at the NFL Scouting Combine. http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/How-NF...works-2784.html

I'm not really, but is it me or is this team missing someone who gets pissed off after a loss or playing like crap. A Mike Brown, Singletary, Hampton, or even just someone who seems a little mad. Who is the player on this team who gets in other players faces when they screw up. I go back to my Cutler laughing it up with Rogers last week. It just doesn't seem like there is much passion. Would love to see one after game interview that makes the sports cast. Like Denny Green, or Ditka before he went over the edge. I don't see all the interviews in Chicago so maybe someone does get angry. But this teams seems even more laid back and Im OK your OK, then our job is on t…

Hate to see any players get injured, but this one helps the Bears a lot as Bulaga was the Packers LT and one of their better players.

Kind of a fluff piece, but still nice to read... http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/04/17/jordan-howard-comforting-that-bears-said-they-wont-trade-me/ Jordan Howard: “Comforting” that Bears said they won’t trade me Posted by Josh Alper on April 17, 2018, 2:50 PM EDT Getty Images Before wide receiver Jarvis Landry was traded to the Browns this offseason, there were reports that the Dolphins were talking about trading him to the Bears for running back Jordan Howard. That didn’t happen and it doesn’t appear the Bears are going to look for other trading partners for a deal involving Howard. Howard spok…

I hate the broncos, living out here. Remember the last time we played them, we were going to be the first team to ever shut out the broncos at home. It was 10-0 bears with 2 minutes left, Marion Barber runs for a first down and fumbles without contact, broncos ball and they score. Then we get the ball back and Denver has no time outs, we can run out the clock, but Marion Barber runs out of bounds stops the clock and Denver gets ball back and kicks field goal with no time left and we go into overtime and loose. I WANT REVENGE!
