I know it has been quoted that Holt has said he does not have interest in the Bears and therefore it seems highly unlikely we would land him but who ever thought we would sign Cutler?

Since our #49 pick is essentially our #1 pick, I'm curious to see who the mocksters have us taken. I found one updated mock but it still has us taking Duke Robinson. Not that I would mind seeing us take the Duke, but we've already added 3 good offensive lineman. We have far more pressing needs at WR, safety & DE.

Very intersting. Angelo did say it isn't like the Cutler talks, specifically mentioning that it isn't just the compensation, but the money which is an issue. Pay close attention to this one though, imo.

With all the criticize Pace has gotten lately, I still think he has given us our core for the future. I still think we could take a RB late in the draft but he is a good backup RB that can catch the ball.

With the possibility that the Bears are not matching the offer to Meredith, I was looking at who is currently on the roster. It's pretty scary. We have a bunch of question marks and not much depth. Our #1 is coming back from an injury. Oh, so is our #2, whether it's White (zero confidence in him) or Meredith, who may not even be with the team. So our top 2-3 receivers are coming off injury.
