I looked up this stat because I couldn't believe how we never heard his name being called. I heard one of the guys on the score or espn1000 say that he celebrated because he had not gotten a sack yet but was getting good pressure. I disagree with the celebrating a sack when down 4000 points. Where does the NFL get this timeline? Last year between 3 and 5 pm is was announced the Bears signed Eddie Royal and Pernell. What I expect at 3:00 tomorrow: 1. We trade Martellus Bennett. It's probably a done deal but at 3:00 we can make it official. Jimmy Graham would be awesome. But probably a 6th rounder . . . 2. Danny Trevathan becomes official--we have the money and the scheme he wants. 3. Akiem Hicks--I think it's happening 4. When praising or criticizing Pace we need to look at his plan. In the first two years, he took position players and did not draft a QB. He tried to trade up for Mariota and last year to go up and get Wentz. I would have to say both of those should turn out to be good QBs. So I think he can identify a QB when he sees one. In the three year of a rebuild , he need to get a QB to push forward with the progress, so he addressed with an urgency. I would say he identified Tribusky as his guy early but there was no guarantee he would be there at three.So he went out and grabbed the best QB available in FA.He did think in spite of getting a chance to draft Tribusky , be…

I've been watching,anybody else? Walter should be #1. Misssed one game,hardley ever ran out of bounse,kept in on third and long because he could run, pass, block, catch, not like some rb that could only run. He could punt, return kickoffs, played in 2 shorten seasons (could of had more yards). Was the clasiest player on and off the field. Saved thousands of peoples lives by his death(thousands became organ donars because of what he went thru) What else? He was already voted best #34 in nfl history.

It appears Jordan will be available soon as a FA. The question is should the Bears consider returning him? What type of blocking will Chicago deploy under Castillo? Are they wanting to go more power blocking, zone blocking or concentrate more on pass blocking? I think someone hypothesized that the reason Hiestand lost his job was because he wanted to do more power blocking and Nagy did not. (My guess is Nagy needed a scape goat and Hiestand was one of a few options). Anyhow, if in fact the Bears goal is to focus more on a combination of pass and zone blocking then Howard may still be an option. These are not players you will see drafted in the upper part of the draft. As I read more and more about prospects, this is my view on sleepers. Akem Spence/DT from Illinois- he is athletic, 72 tackles as a senior. a mid round pick that will eventually start in the league. Terry Hawthorne/CB from Illinois- good size, good speed 4.44, 60 tackles, 8 PBUs, 3 int.. I think another Illini prospect that will contribute and could start in a year or two. Gerald Hodges/LB from Penn state-The team leader played really well with 109 tackles, 8.5 tackles for a loss, seven passes broken up, one forced fumble and two interceptions in 2012.
