I really hope he gets picked up by anyone but Denver. If this kid had a team around him that could block for $H!+ he would be able to put up some really good numbers. I am personally quite upset with the decision to kick him after these questionable run ins with the "law" Nfo made me feel a little better with his post about Ced but unless we get a healthy Kevin Jones (who would need to learn the offense still) I am still very scared about our RB depth. NFC Offensive Line Rankings I was wondering if you all agreed with this ranking of the NFC Offensive Lines. If their speculation is right and we are 14th out of 16, we are in deep doo doo. I think we will be much better. I have no doubt that if needed Angelo will check out players cut during preseason do to a "youth movement" or "Salary Cap Problems" and beef up the OL with some veterans. However, I am hoping that Williams will be the answer at LT and with Tait moving to RT, we will be no less than #6 or #7 in the ranking by the end of the season.

As we all know or at least are convinced Jerry let the wrong RB go after the 2006 Super Bowl run. Benson didn't pan out in 2007 and ended up injured. The run game was non-existent last year. In 2006 we enjoyed a 1-2 punch of Jones and Benson. IMHO Benson's only good season in chicago. Entering the Draft we had Benson, Wolfe, and AP. Not long after drafting Forte Benson is let go. Leaving us with Forte expected to be the feature back along with AP as backup and Wolfe in spot duty. Then comes the signing of Kevin Jones at a very reasonable one year deal. It appears that the qb position may just keep going back and fourth as rex looks to have taken the lead today. Rex really didn't have any mistakes whereas Kyle threw a pic to bowman (who made an incredible play on the ball!!!) and Steltz. I'd have to say that rex has a little bit of an edge after today and the defense is looking really really good. Also even though kyle did have some pics, it did appear that he was role playing rex a bit. Meaning it appeared that kyle was taking some good shots down the field. Not just the dump offs and the 3-5 yarders, but some legit 15-25 yarders and those throws looked really good. Which is why I'm not putting rex up a whole lot.…

All those Power Rankings we see, where the Bears are 26th in the league are bogus in my opinion. I have always thought that. If not for injuries last year, the Bears would have won a few more games, and would have been in the running for a wild card spot. And that's WITH NO OFFENSE. This year, the Bears have improved in many ways, not the least of which is concerning health. With all that said, I think I trust Vegas a bit more than I trust the talking head idiots at the major sports websites and papers. Bears not so bad? Obviously, I'd like to see the line perform better. I predict they will, actually. You'll see Orton in there from the start and I believe now that the QB battle is over, we'll find the game plan much more balanced. We aren't trying to see what our QB's have but rather work our entire O. This means we'll be keeping the D a bit more off balance. IMHO we can be the Colts next week if we do two things on offense and one on defense. On offense if we can run the ball and control the clock we stand a great chance of winning .....due to the way the Colts are built. They don't have the massive line up front, they use lighter speed guys similar to what we have so they can be blocked out of plays. So if we pound the ball inside and use the 2 TE set we can run on them to the outside. Secondly their corners and LB are not speed guys so we can get Olsen/Davis underneath open and Bradley/Hester/Lloyd open on deeper routes. Also with their speed up front screens and draws will kill them. Not to mention that Sanders and Freene…
