There was an article on CSNChicago.com about the Bears that I found interesting. It gave team stats in some offensive and defensive areas for the Bears compared to teams which made the playoffs this year. I was actually surprised by the info provided and encouraged in that if we could rank that favorably with the 2016 playoff teams with 19 players on IR, what could we accomplish in 2017 with a healthy roster and key additions made this opffseason in FA and the draft? It is a long offseason.

I'm not a huge fan of Hub Arkush int he least. But sometimes, he makes some valid points. Going home yesterday I heard him on the Parkins and McNeil show (kind of painful in it's own right...) Hub mentioned, that he thought having Chase Daniel could actually turn out to be a benefit. He feared a lull in the team given the last 2 wins and the short week. Since we signed Holmes who do we keep as WR this year? Marshall/Jeffery are a given..but do we keep Holmes, Morgan Williams and hold a spot for Wilson? Then you have Bellamy,Edwards,Herd,Hughes,Moss,Spurlock to round out the WR core. Me IMHO i would go with Marshall/Jeffery,Holmes, Morgan, Williams and Wilson.

Great Blue North website has a list of all the undrafted college players on it, and it is pretty extensive. Lots of names we thought would have been drafted somewhere.

Last year the home run would have been Jim Harbaugh but Warren had a problem with him in the Big 10. So we got Flus back. To me, Johnson seems like a Mcvay or Shanahan type of hire. Did destiny have us go thru a reset year to get us to the right Coach and drafted QB? Had we had a winning season, Flus could still be here.
