Had a good year in 2009 but has fell of since. Started 2 games 2 years ago for the Pats, recorded 3 sacks. No question a vet min deal which doesn't hurt. Probably competes with Austin Lane for a spot on the team.

http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/be...mel-tucker.html Lane gives some insight into how Tucker ran the D in Jacksonville. He is right, I can't name 5 players from that defense that ranked #6. In fact I can't name two (one name only because of Lane). Sounds like we are going to see a lot of different looks from our defense this year. Can't say results will be different but after a decade watching the Lovie 2 if nothing else at least it will have me wondering what we're going to do next.

have we had in the past 3 weeks??? Has to be around 25. Offside penalties are a friggin joke. T Harris goes offside almost every game. Personal foul penalty on Miller - really nice. He should be benched for that crap. I don't want to see him play another down. Peace

From last night: St. Clair over Metcalf - although I would rather see Beekman or Oakley play, thankfully they have benched Metcalf. Gilmore inactivated, Nick Roach on ST - He played all 4 phases of special teams. I think this means Gilmore is gone. Kennedy and Toeaini - Yeah, Walker is hurt but hopefully they realize he is not worth the investment and keep these 2 in the rotation. Still waiting to see Hass but at least they are bringing in some fresh bodies. Peace

Bush won't play by Jimmy Smith, The Times-Picayune Staff writer Friday December 28, 2007, 1:37 PM Saints tailback Reggie Bush missed practice for the third straight day on Friday and has been ruled out of Sunday's regular-season finale at Chicago, Coach Sean Payton said. Early reports following diagnosis of Bush's torn left posterior cruciate ligament had his missing the rest of the regular season four weeks ago, though the Saints initially dismissed those stories as premature. Tailback Aaron Stecker was excused from practice to attend funeral services for his father-in-law in Wisconsin. Stecker missed Wedneday and Thursday practices with…

An NFL executive believes impending free agent Lance Briggs will end up with the 49ers this offseason. The Niners were close to acquiring Briggs at October's trade deadline, but the sign-and-trade agreement was nixed because Briggs was the Bears' franchise player. Briggs is a sideline to sideline outside linebacker in Chicago, but would play inside in San Francisco's 3-4 scheme. Source from Chicago Tribune.

Woman alleges Adam 'Pacman' Jones punched her at Atlanta strip club NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A woman is seeking an arrest warrant against suspended Tennessee Titans cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones, claiming he punched her at an Atlanta strip club. Fulton County Magistrate Court officials told The Associated Press on Tuesday that Wanda S. Jackson asked for the warrant after a Jan. 3 altercation at the Body Tap Strip Club. "I was sitting in the office and he lunged at me numerous times in an effort to do grave bo…

Pretty good breakdown of the season. http://chi.scout.com/2/720848.html

http://sports.espn.go.com/chat/sportsnatio...1&listId=91 This one, looks like it's falling right into place!

Early guesses would be Walker and Miller. Miller is a no brainer but I wouldn't hate bringing back Walker w/ a restructured deal.

per nfl.com I had hopes Andrews would be our starting RT next year. Oh well, we always can get Locklear...

http://nfldraft.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=777329 According to the Steelers GM, this is the best OL draft in 24 yrs. Means we can take a top notch OL man in 1st or 2nd.

This is one wide receiver I want the Bears to draft. He just ran a 4'4 forty at 6'5 so that will definitely boost his draft stock. He has huge hands which makes him a pretty solid Possession receiver but he can also beat you with the deep ball. If I were Jerry Angelo I'd be thinkin about taking this guy with our number 1 pick, maybe number 2 (But I doubt it now).

Full Story FYI on some the measureables... 40: 4.78 (T-4th among QBs) Vert: 28.5 (5th among QBs) Broad Jump: 9.02 (T-2nd amont QBs) 3 Cone: 6.82 (1st among QBs)

Which mock drafts are the most reliable? Whose opinion do you trust the most? (I'm getting excited for the draft............. if you can't tell)
