Found this on another forum - a list of starting offensive linemen around the league and the number of sacks they allowed. Linemen get assessed 0.5 either for allowing an assisted sack on a solo block or allowing a solo sack as half of a double-team block. They get assessed 0.25 for allowing an assisted sack as half of a double-team. 2008 Bears players are in bold. New players for 2009 are in italics, although Chris Williams and Frank Omiyale are omitted, since neither had enough starts in 2008 to make the list. LT 1. NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Former Titans quarterback Steve McNair has been killed. Police said McNair suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head in downtown Nashville. The incident happened near 2nd South & Lea Avenue. A female victim was also found dead. According to Don Aaron with the Metro Nashville Police Department, no suspects have been taken into custody. Okay, so yesterday was my anniversary and my gift was a trip to wherever to see the Bears play. I was thinking that I would love to go to Lambeau to see the Bears play the Packers but would have to get tickets at face value (otherwise I'll just get tickets to a game at Soldier field). Does anyone have any clue on a good method of getting Packer tickets?

Looked at this comparison in another thead, and just love the comparison. Looking at our roster compared to SDs (offense) I think this is a team we could use as a measuring stick. Rivers - 4,000 yards and 34 TDs. I see no reason to believe Cutler isn't just as good as Rivers, and has shown the ability to put up similar numbers. Gates - Their top receiver is not a WR, but a TE. I am not saying Olsen will be equal to Gates overall, but Gates numbers last year (60-700-8) are not on a level I think out of Olsen's reach. 5 more catches. 125 more yards and 3 more TDs. Per Rotoworld, Kansas City has agreed to terms with Mike Brown. I'll be sorry to see him in a different uniform, but I hope he has success in K.C. With a very, very young group on defense, Kansas City could benefit a ton from a leader like Brown in the locker room.

Former players rave about Bears line coach Rod Marinelli I've read posts before from former players who were taught by Marinelli, but this one expands on it with even a quote from Ron Rivera. I can't wait to see how our D Line plays this year. If they produce like I think they are going to, Lovie's defense is going to be a top 5 defense and our team will rock and roll!
