We we really dont have much left to do other than signing A. Okoye and Forte. We can also still look at an OT in Bell or McNeil or a CB maybe still look at LB with Hawthorne and Lawson still out there. We can be a great fast defense if we signed one of those two. I would think about Lawson and his speed and drafting Irvin with his speed then you have a strong side with two guys at 4.4 speed covering the TE and rushing the QB. We could draft and OT in the first RD, Trumaine Johnson CB in the second Irvin DE in the third Tomie Streeter WR in the fouth and BPA the rest of the way

As always, thanks again Loyd Thomas for your brilliant cap insight. Oustanding. As per LT, cutting Darwin Walker saved us 6,350,000 (I double checked that and much to my surprise, my commas are in the correct spot.) Dumping Fred Miller netted another 3,404,560. Alas Moose only saved us 100,000 (My wife will no longer have to ask, "Why are they booing?") Before this, our free cap space was 22,490,133. Arch will eventually cut, rounding up (and being to lazy to use the calculator, that leaves us with approximately 32 million to spend. Wow. (Thanks again LT) So where do we spend our money?

So who is going to win tonight? Who does everyone prefer? I like both teams really, love Baltimore's defence but San Francisco is a very solid and exciting team as well.... I have to go with Baltimore, they are veterans in the big games and the Ravens will be playing big for Lewis's last game.

Im at a loss thinking about how sad our WR corp. is. Not one veteran that accomplished anything at the position. I know its beating a dead horse but who gets the ball on 3rd and 7 that you actually have confidence in to catch it?

That's right the Packers are in last place in the NFC North after week 1. LOL Gotta enjoy that while it lasts, SF is a tough team though. Who'da thunk the Bears, Lions, and Vikings all are 1-0 and the Packers are 0-1. If we can take one from GB that will be huge and give us a virtual 3 game lead on the media darling Packers. Big game coming up for the Bears and nothing would make me happier than to see the the Bears stomp all over the Packers in their house and give them an 0-2 start and give them their second straight home loss this year!.

Here is a list of NFL QB's drafted from 2015-2019 and the number of games with 20 or more passing attempts (College/NFL): 2015 Mariota: 39/55=94 Winston: 25/59=84 2016 Prescott: 32/55=87 Goff: 35/50=85 Wentz: 18/48=66 Brissett: 24/23=47 2017 Watson: 30/32=62 Mahomes: 29/25=54 Trubisky: 14/29=43 2018 Mayfield: 44/21=65 Jackson: 34/14=48 Rosen: 29/15=44 Darnold: 24/17=41 Allen: 19/15=34 2019 Jones: 33/6=39 Murray: 15/8=23 Minshew: 24/8=32 Haskins: 15/0=15 Of the 18 QBs listed from 2015-2019, Trubisky has the least amount of games in college with 20 or more passing attempts. Counting college and NFL games…

I think he'll have a solid game... About 200 yards throwing one TD pass, maybe more. We're indoors and the Vikings defensive backfield is suspect. The pass rush could cause him to make a few rookie mistakes so I wouldn't be surprised if he looks a lot like Rex... What does it mean, it's the first step in the process of determining what we do in the draft and what we do with Rex. If Kyle has three excellent games to end the season, you can forget about Rex and you can forget about going for a QB early. With our horrendous O Line I expect he'll look like a Bears QB, nothing special. He can't move outside the pocket all that well. I expect we'll see Kyle produce …

I remember when he first went out they said he had a strained thumb and then recently I heard someone say ligament damage. When is this guy going to be playing again? I don't see us being able to develop any of the talent with Barkley at QB. Peace

The Bears may have home advantage when it comes to the crowd and the weather (against some), but they certainly don't have home "field" advantage. So far this year, at least the following people have ripped the garbage turf: -Cutler: "...worst field in the league..." -Urlacher: "The footing at Soldier Field has been horrible." -Olsen: ""You don't have to be a scientist to know that grass doesn't grow in these conditions. It is what it is." (In other words, "WTF can I do about it? No reason to complain.") -Desmond Clark: "...cow pasture...one of the worst fields in the NFL and there are no excuses why the Chicago Bears, of all teams, should have to play on suc…

Ok for those of you who have been to games at Soldier Field recently I have some questions. Dad and I are still planning on going, and I picked up a regulation clear plastic bag that meets the 12x6x12 size limit. The items I'm considering bringing: 1 small Sony camera with extra batteries and memory cards 1 larger Sony camera with a telephoto lens that is under 6" so it meets the guidelines. Several AA batteries and memory cards 1 backup battery for my cell phone. 2 ponchos (if it looks like rain in the forecast) 1 small blanket (possibly) Since your not allowed to bring a camera case, can the cameras, batteries, and cards be stored in the cle…

Rosenbloom has a nice take http://www.chicagotribune.com/site/newspap...0,5420889.story I've been to Family Night (it sucks, but that's besides the point) I'm pissed. How is this possible? The field hasn't been used since July 22 for the stupid soccer game. But it's not ready . . . The Bears have to be accountable in all this. This didn't get cancelled until 5:30. We had nobody there? What an embarrassment. The only silver lining is that people will be pissed off enough to see a change.
