Supposedly the Chiefs are floating Eric Berry out there for a 2R pick. More than just a few websites are reporting this, but none of them are really mainstream websites. Because of that I'm not really buying it. Also the fact that the Chiefs seemingly don't have an option behind him is another reason to question things. But in the off chance it's true I'd absolutely love for the Bears to make it happen. Hekk I'd give em a 2nd rounder next year too.

This is very positive for a rookie coach. It seemed like the team had a bunch of thugs on it when I watched them play the Ravens last year. I guess Billick was doing a better job than he got credit for.

A QB I watched play last week and was impressed with his ability to throw the ball. He's not mobile and may not have the deep ball arm strength so he might drop a bit in the draft. I know we have Shaheen, but man, Gesicki is tearing it up: His last two seasons: 48-679, 14.1, 5 TDs 57-563, 9.9, 9 TDs That is some great production and he is 6'6" and 250 lbs, so he is not just a workout warrior. Would you consider him as an option if he is sitting there in the 4th?

This is going to hurt, but I am glad it is not season-ending. In other team news, it looks like they traded a 6th Round Pick for WR Jakeem Grant from Miami. He is a Return Specialist and will likely take over both the KR and PR duties with Herbert moving to RB2. Webster probably getting cut for his reluctance to even fair catch a ball last week like Ted Ginn did last year. Grant also has some speed, but until they used Goodwin and Byrd, he won't be much of an option on offense, which is fine with me.

Again, I was in attendance: 1. I don't think Cutler played as poor as people think. When he had more than 2 seconds to throw, he was hitting open receivers and even making a couple plays with his feet. 2. Time to keep Hester on punts and punts only. Aromashodu can play WR at the same level that Hester can, and Bennett is pretty decent the more and more I watch him. 3. The Bears OL is made up of an aging Hawaiian, a 5th round (IIRC) from Tennessee Tech, a guy who has played every position on the OL since being drafted a few years back due to ineptitude and injuries, a guy who shouldn't be on any team's practice squad, and a 7th round doufus. Does everybody have to agree on everything for a team to be successful ? When a football Org. re-evaluates it's self in off season does everybody really tell the truth ? Is there retribution if you stand up say " were going about this the wrong way " ? What I'm getting is at the Angelo and Co. think tank . Any interest in either of these guys in the slot? KC is the new "where WR's go to die". So it is hard to give an honest assessment due to how bad they have been at WR. Avery is quicker but older. If you like Oline play check out this screenshot of a Jordan Howard run late in the 4th quarter that helped win the game over the Vikings. This is inside 4min, Vikings know we're going to run and the box is stacked with 8 defenders and everyone else keyed into what Howard does at the snap. Our Oline blocks it well, Howard reads it well, and we gain 11yds for a 1st down. We have to start giving more credit to our TEs as well because both Paulsen and Miller are doing a good job blocking. The Chicago Bears signed receiver Raymond Radway to the practice squad on Tuesday. To make room for Radway, the Bears released receiver Joe Anderson from the practice squad. A standout at Abilene Christian University, Radway (6-foot-3, 198 pounds) was cut on Oct by the Cowboys.
