Clavicle.... Good. Cocky prick

I've spent a lot of time hyping up Byron Pringle this off-season, but Mooney needs some love too. What makes a #1 WR in the NFL? How many are there? Last year Mooney was 15th in receiving yards among wide receivers(17th overall). He also was 6th in the league in creating separation. Mooneys best ability, imo, is his ability to get down field and create separation. With the OL being pretty blah last year I don't think we were able to utilize that ability all that well. Fields and Mooney have been working out together all off-season, and with an improved offensive line, giving him the ability to work down the field more, I could see …

Could Brian McCaskey be the next in line? I think Dan McNeil has made mention of this in the Trib... http://www.csnchicago.com/pages/blog_moon

Why were we putting Mack in coverage so often and leaving our first round pick on the bench? Put all the player mistakes aside this is one strategic decision by Fangio that I still can't figure out. If you want to drop 8 in coverage put the best 8 coverage guys on the field especially when Mack has a bum ankle.

Another QB slot that needs to be filled. I don't think they will have Hill as the starter, so Winston? They have cap issues. It will be interesting.

I've followed Bears drafts since the 60's and this is the first time I see a selection that looked pissed off that he wasn't drafted earlier.!

Conditioning has Rex Grossman optimistic about 2008 A good article on Rex and his attempt to win the starting position at QB. I must admit, I admire his work ethics mentioned in the article. He is definately attempting to do everything possible to turn his career around. Will it be enough? Did he wait too long to work his butt off? Time will tell, I will be anxious to see how this translates on the field this Saturday. Unfortunately, I have a fantasy football league draft at 6:30 PM Central for a league at work so I will have to watch a recorded version after the draft is over. Therefore, I will not be able to be on the foum to comment during the game and …

I listen to M. Bennett on the score last nite, he is a real trip, well worth listening too. He will be on tues with Lawrence Holmes on Bears live at 7:00 , check it out. Also they have a sit down on the tribune called 3 downs, with B. Briggs, Steve Rosenblom and two other guys. That chat is worth checking out.

Dusty gone surprises me but dont.

Didnt run 40 so its wait and see Good size, instincts, etc. Great Ballhawk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQf7WNWk7aQ http://cdsdraft.com/profile.php?id=4323 Not sure if hed be around, but who knows.

If you look at the Bears roster you will notice that we had 6 WR'S on it. After cutting Bradley we now have(simple math) five, but out of the five can you guess with one is over 6 foot tall?. The answer is none of them. Oh and by the way our WR'S that are over 6 foot(6'1 & 6-3) are on the practice squad. Is this the reason why Orton's throws are over their heads? And lets see, Davis has dropped a game winning pass on a drive, Hester dropped a sure TD, you throw to Booker what maybe four times, and you have MR Hand catch evrything(Hass)0 on the practice squad along with Mr 6-3 led the preseason in TD'S Rideau com on coaches. We cut Bradley and pick up a 5-11 188l…

The NFC is down to Green Bay and Chicago. The AFC is down to the Jets and Steelers. Two 2 vs 6 seed match-ups. That's the 2010-2011 NFL for you all.

Our special teams will be better this and be on top of the NFL once again. Sure we have a few holes to fill but that simple with all the players we have ready to step up. Gould is kicking the ball off well and they are going deep into the end zone. He has also made a 67 yard field goal in practice. Now if he can do this in a game then we have an added weapon. With hester changing field postion and a threat to take it all the way, making coaches not wanting to kick to him, and then you have Maynard the punter pinning the other team deep with kicks inside the 20.

Redford had a lackluster career at Tulsa but for the last year has been training with former kicker John Carney. He has put of 15 lbs for leg strength and has been deadly accurate. He may be ready to blossom. The fact he took a year off to work out instead of trying to find a job, speaks highly for his dedication. He may be the cheap guy for our woes.

As usual I attempt a no trade mock when I know Pace loves to move around. 1.Christian Darrishaw OT Va Tech 2. Kyle Trask QB Fla 3. Amon-Ra St Brown WR USC 4. Alarik Jackson OT Iowa 6a. Shakar Brown CB Mich St 6b. Khyiris Tonga DT BYU 6c Jemar Jefferson RB Oregon St 7. Tuf Borland ILB Ohio St

Our cornerback depth is in shambles. Hopefully, Vash is back next week and the other 3 are not out long. Wow. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0,5307510.story Peace
