Not Bears related but should be a good SB this year. Bengals haven't been to the SB since 88, and It's been a while for the Rams. I like that's it's different teams competing for it rather than Tom Brady vs whoever. I like both QB's in this game, and you have to feel happy for Stafford to finally be free of the pit of misery (aka the Lions), and has a chance to play in the big game. Some people are upset over the Bears about the lack of FA involvement, but with almost everybody locked up long term, we only have so much room before we have to start cutting guys and taking cap hits. I have 45 players I feel are locks for the 53 man, at least 5 draft picks will be on the roster, and I have some tweeners that could go either roster, practice squad, or cut. Pace talked today ahead of the combine and he was very open. He said that he's already talked with Willie young and he will be released and said that Mike Glennon has something in his contract that prohibits the team from releasing him until the new league yr starts however he will be released as well

There are some early signs the offense is starting to come together. Anthony Miller is going to surprise a lot of people this season. I can include myself in that group as I wasn't that high on him in the draft process although the 2nd Rd seemed to be the right value for him. He's going to line up against other team's second or third best CB and that looks more and more like a huge advantage for the Bears. With all the changes we are going through on the offensive side of the ball I'm glad we're not the dumpster fire that is the Cleveland Browns. That teams also came into 2019 with playoff and even Superbowl hype and just fell apart. Even though some here are calling for a full house cleaning as Cleveland did I'm of the opinion that minor course corrections will serve the organization better. The Bears really got the shaft in terms of SoS this year. The NFC North in general got both East divisions which don't have a team with a losing record. So that is 8 games against winning teams, then the Bears have 2x MIN and played SF. So 11 games against winning teams, and 4 of the non-winning games are against GB and DET. That leaves ATL and HOU as the last two games. I still can't believe the Bears lost to ATL. From last season, the Bears lost this much production from their passing game (Mooney, Tonyan, Foreman): 53-603-2 This is what they gained from adding Allen, Everett, and Swift: 198-1868-11 That is such a massive jump in production it would make the Bears have a 4500 yard passer with the difference (145-1265-9) added to last year's passing totals. For rushing totals, they go from: 109-425-4 to 229-1049-5. So 120-624-1 difference there as well. Adding over 2K yards of offense and 10 TDs cannot be understated.
