I hope it means they have a deal on the table for Foles. Otherwise playing him that long was stupid. Did Nagy get asked about it?

Drafted by the Cowboys at 30. Grew up about 15 miles from where I live and went high school five miles away at Big Foot High School. I stood about five feet from him on the field at Camp Randall. I hate Cowboys but I will be rooting for him. Peace

I am watching the Saints v Giants 2012. Bushrod is beast in run and pass blocking. On runs he has great foot speed and in pass blocking the only time Pierre Paul or Umenyora have gotten any pressure is Umenyora bull rushed him and had the advantage but Bushrod fought back and Brees was not touched. Webb would have been on his arse and Cutler being carried off. Only watched to halftime so far but left tackle will not be a concern next year on this performance. I remember last time we played giants Webb was killed. As a foot note Bennett was run blocking well and caught a TD and ran a good route.

I was upset when I first learned of Cliff Stein leaving the Bears. I was even more alarmed that it was rumored that Warren was the one who showed him the door. I just read an interesting article describing in detail the rise and fall of Cliff Stein and now fully understand why he was dismissed. The article describes Stein's change in approach to contract negotiations that had become an issue with players and their agents. It also mentioned that he felt Phillips and Stein mishandled negotiations with Arlington Heights which has led to a stalemate in Warren's plans for a stadium there. Finally, it states Warren is concerned that there are "leaks" in the front office o…

I try not to mention rumors but I think 99% of them are BS but here a few I am trying to verify. I have seen several posts on social media that we are talking about TRADING FOR TROY HENDRICKSON. I think it is BS, Cincy is not close to signing him so it is possible and the longer they go without a contract says the price is coming down. Now a 2 but may drop to a 3. This price would be doable but my big concern is THEY are not going to fit the 40 mil contract into our Cap situation. (we are surgically) building the roster. We paid Sweat and game Odeyingbo a 48 mil contract. We have some prospects behind them (Austin Booker, Daniel Hardy) . We have some DL flexab…

Ty Dunn wrote a 3 part article about 2024 Bears and it throws Caleb under the bus. I read where one coach that is quoted said this was not suppose to be public. The writer lied to get quotes. It makes Celeb look very bad. Throws Poles under the bus also. I have only seen some quotes and the article comes out Monday. My opinion is some things are true and some things are opinion. He made this a sensational article to get clicks. We have Ben Johnson now and everything is going well, I could care less what is true and not true. BJ came here because of Caleb and its all a new year , the sh+t show left last year with the coaches.

We won the 2nd half 14-13. Our defense only allowed 6 which was less than our offense let up (7 on Pick-6). We had a Special Teams TD, and no one got injured on a sack celebration (because we had no sacks). We won the penalty battle 11-5 and had more penalty yards than GB 163-50. Williams had 288 Return Yards on a whopping 10 KO's. Our defensive players did not record a single Pass Defended, INT, Forced Fumble, or Sack. They kept a clean box score with tackles only. We let up 4 more pts than our last game and increased the margin of loss by 13. For our last 3 games, we have a point differential of -82.

Mahomes vs Trubisky, Reid vs Nagy, Butker vs Pineiro! A bunch of storylines this week, except the Bears at 7-7 have very little to play for while the Chiefs are essentially only jockeying for the #3 or #4 seed. The #4 seed gets Buffalo and the #3 seed gets Pittsburgh or Tennessee. After that loss, and how it ended on the 2 yard line. I don't know how the Bears get up for this game. I am thinking the secondary gets torched by KC as no one can stay with Hill, Hardiman, or Kelce. Mahomes might be out at halftime with a huge lead. The Bears have too many injuries and nothing to play for. The offense is still a mess, so it could get ugly. I am thinking Chiefs 34…

Looking like I might squeak out a win this week. Even if I don't I should remain the #2 seed in my league. But there are enough teams that could challenge me for that spot and things go really poorly I could even find myself on the outside looking in if I don't win next week (especially if I don't pull it out this week. In our league we have a waiver priority number rather than a FAB system. The priorities don't reset each week. So I currently have the #2 priority. If I use it I move to the back of the line. I've been hit hard with injuries and COVID so the waiver wire has been extra important down the stretch. I'm wondering if there is a player out there that is …

Come off the practice squad and play well in your first NFL game under the bright spotlights of MNF alongside a makeshift secondary that has never played together and you're going to get some attention. It's too early to say he's our starter opposite Johnson next year but he might earn it in the last few games. What will be most interesting is that he'll get to see the Vikings twice which is really lucky for him. For people like me who were wondering why we didn't see him sooner, he explains that himself: He wasn't playing well enough consistently. To his credit and the Bears he stuck around and worked on his craft. I look forward to watching him the next few game…

I seen a article on PFF that compares who the player turns into as a comparision of existing NFL players. If they turn out to be similar players, who would you take. I am going to only list the players most being considered to draft at #3. J. Allen-----Sheldon Richardson J. Adams-----Eric Weddle S. Thomas-----Michel Bennett M. Lattimore---Desmond Trufant M. Hooker-----Reggie Nelson Other than the potenial to take a QB, who of these players would have the biggest affect on our team if they turn into these players. I would have to say, Weddle or Richardson would be the best choices.

NFL Still Plans To Try To Suspend The Williams Wall Posted by Mike Florio on June 2, 2009, 1:24 p.m. There’s an erroneous Associated Press report regarding Tuesday’s hearing in the case brought by Vikings defensive tackles Kevin and Pat Williams due to the StarCaps suspensions. The AP report initially said that the league’s lawyer told Hennepin County Judge Gary Larson that the NFL “won’t try to enforce its four-game suspension” of the two players. Not true, we’re told. The league instead told the Court that Kevin and Pat Williams will not be suspended until the first game of the regular season, and that in the interim they are free to participate in a…

Some uncertainty remains on the offensive line with seventh-round pick Kirk Barton in line for a job but in position to possibly be impacted by Fred Miller. The veteran is out of town at a family wedding this weekend and continues to mull his options, likely with the hope the Bears will move up from their offer of a minimum-salary benefit deal at $830,000. Guard Chester Adams, the seventh-round pick from Georgia, got good news when he learned he suffered only a sprained left medial collateral ligament at Cleveland.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...he-trade-block/ I wonder what it will take and if we have enough, but the possibility of getting a young starting quality guard should at least be looked at.
