Last year we were historically bad on defense for numerous reasons. Obviously injuries, scheme, new coaches, loss of Urlacher, all took their toll. However, just looking at a few guys who we let go this off season tells you how bad we actualy were. 1. James Anderson, started 16 games and was our leading tackler? He also had 4 sacks. However, he looked as lost as Bostic and Greene half the time and didn't have their speed to recover. He seemed out of position a lot. He is now a Nickel LB in NE. Josh Norman, CB, Coastal Carolina ---Norman's stock really rose recently, and the Bears need a young CB. 4. TY Hilton, WR, Florida International ---Hilton had a huge pro day, running in the 4.3's. Benson over TJ, Mark over Alex, go down the list...I thought they were goofy decisions (except Rex in Orton's sophomore since Orton obviously wasn't ready). Nor was I in favor of ANY of those early contract extensions, lol, which says more about my philosophy. As it turns out, I misjudged Lance's talent and yet I was right anyway since playing hardball with Lance worked out for us.

I'm curious how everyone thinks the game plan to beat the pats should be for the bears? I think they need to run the ball and keep Brady off the field as much as possible. We can't beat them in a shoot out. Time to use Cohen, Cunningham, and Howard. Take advantage of our OL and attack their line and punish their def. and not try and be slick. Some quick passes to the tight ends. Not saying we should not be aggressive, but this should be a game where the run sets up the pass and stick to running before anything else. I don't think there is anyway we can beat them by out scoring them. But easier said than done.

Just loved the broadcast teams they had in a lot of different itinerations. Howard, I. Cross, Dandy Don, Jimmy the Greek and a bunch of others. We crapped the bed again during a big game. Rodgers owns us. Until I actually see it, I will assume they will continue to own us and I will pencil every GB game from here on out as a loss. We are not in their league. D was worst ever. Tucker needs to be fired, and Conte needs to be cut ASAP. My Sundays have now been returned to me. I could honestly care less about watching the NFL right now period. SF will kill GB. At least there are no more false hopes for this awful season. Same old Bears. Losing to GB to make them national darlings. Great job guys. Just stellar.
