#Bears have waived DB Malcolm Bronson, TE Kevin Greene, T Cameron Jefferson, WR Jeremy Kelley, CB AL Louis-Jean and LS Rick Lovato. #Bears have placed WR Kevin White on PUP list and S Ryan Mundy on injured reserve. They also cut CB Tim Jennings and RB Daniel Thomas. #Bears also have waived WR Levi Norwood, DE Olsen Pierre and TE Chris Pantale and waived/injured WR John Chiles.

I found this article rather interesting. Really shows you just how good Donald was at getting in the backfield, and how Jernigan should be looked at as more of run stuffer than a 3 tech. http://www.rotoworld.com/articles/cfb/4665...k-dt-metrics-10 With Houston potentially, or perhaps likely, moving inside on passing downs I wouldn't totally be against taking Jernigan, but I still would love Donald. Wish they would have analysed more.

He says that when he watched Nix on film he seemed to be on the ground too much. That is a big no no to DL coaches because they feel you can't make a play on the ground.

With the draft complete, let's now look at the schedule and see how this is going to play out. To me the first half of the season is going to be what makes or breaks this team. There are some really tough games, but if we can get thru at 4-4 or 5-3 at the bye, it looks like we can make a sustained post season run in the second half. I liked Wilson as a Cardinal. Bowen just mentioned on the score his recent injury history with the patriots. Good low risk high reward singing.

Last year we were historically bad on defense for numerous reasons. Obviously injuries, scheme, new coaches, loss of Urlacher, all took their toll. However, just looking at a few guys who we let go this off season tells you how bad we actualy were. 1. James Anderson, started 16 games and was our leading tackler? He also had 4 sacks. However, he looked as lost as Bostic and Greene half the time and didn't have their speed to recover. He seemed out of position a lot. He is now a Nickel LB in NE.
