    1. Cutler looked good and bad at times. Urlacher had a nice pick vs Cutler but Cutler had 2 great throws, one deep slant to Williams and another streak down the sideline to Hester. 2. Sanzenbacher is holding his own. If he continues to play this way, he'll make the team. I love eating crow... 3. Paea had a cast on his right leg and had a pretty bad limp. I hope he's alright. 4. I didn't see Spencer play much, if at all. 5. Marion Barber is a beast. Forte is jacked too. 6. It amazes me how stupid some fans are. How could people say "Cutler is a fata** who sucks. Hanie is better?" What do people see in Hanie? He threw 2 INT's last year in one half o…

157 yards on 20 carries, 2 TD, 2 receptions, 12 yards. There have only been 18 games since 2002 where a player had 150+ yds, on 20 or less carries, at least 2 TDs, 2 receptions, and 10+ receiving yards. 16 players to do it, Tomlinson and Jonathan Taylor are the only 2 to do it twice ( from 2002-2022). The last 5 before Herbert were Taylor x2 (20/21), Aaron Jones (20), McCaffrey (19), Chubb (19), and LeSean McCoy in 2016.

  4. Dust settling but multiple reports popping up that Cousins will sign 4yr deal with Falcons. No word yet on $'s. Not a good look for Field(s) but now the dust is settled at QB.

  5. Poles is going to address who he wants to keep before going into free agency. David Montgomery Poles already said he loves what he brings to the team: work ethic, leadership, toughness. Because of a gluten of RBs, he'll sign for a team friendly deal. Say 4- 27 mil with 14 guaranteed / last year void able. Essentially 3- 20 mi Cole Kmet. Poles called him a blue chip player say 4- 37 mil 16 guaranteed He brings back DHC 2- 5 mil Tevor Wesco - vet minimum Josh Blackwell - vet minimum Armon Watts- vet minimum Byron Pringle- 3 mil with no guarantee_( will let him prove himself)

  6. So it seems that the offseason moves have improved pretty much every facet of the team. If you look at it from a high level, on offense, the passing game should be improved, and at worst, the running game should be the same. The Bears added Moore, Wright, and Davis, as well as Foreman, Johnson, Scott, and Tonyan, and really only "lost" Montgomery since losing Mustipher is an upgrade in itself. If the offense is better and has some additional TOP, then the defense will be a little more rested and potentially get off the field a few more times. On defense, the run defense was historically bad. With the additions to the DLine and LB Corps, the run defense should be…

Good move, surprised he signed it with all the stuff going on and with the team's record. I am sure it is a nice raise.

Larry Wilson, DB for the St. Louis Cards died. I remember him as a solid player. About 30 years ago I sent him a card to be signed. He thanked me for being a BEAR fan and graciously gave me his signature. I read the he was a real class act, and I believe it. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/2020/09/18/larry-wilson-cardinals-icon-and-nfl-all-time-great-dies-age-82/5827122002/

So it looks like the Falcons may try to move Calvin Ridley. He is going into his 5th year option year, and will have a $11.1M cap hit next year. The Falcons have $11M in cap space, but with only 30 players signed. They have some terrible contracts. Deion Jones has a cap hit of $20M with $24M in dead money. Immovable. Matt Ryan? $48M cap hit with $40M in dead money. Jake Matthews? $23.6M with $19.5M in dead money. The easy cut is Grady Jarrett, instead of $23.8M cap hit, they can save $16.5M by cutting him. That is all but guaranteed. So if they take the Jarrett cap space, they will have $27.5M for 22 players. Still not much wiggle room. Moving someone like Ridley wo…

The league needs to settle this pronto or they will ruin their brand. The guys they have on the field are only marginally better the high school refs I see every week. Peace

  16. He missed mandatory camp and now he is starting training camp hurt with a non football injury. Hope it isn’t serious but I’m a little concerned his ego has gotten a bit too big - need to see him show that hunger. I know he wants a huge new deal just one year after signing. If he wants it - go out and crush it - go be an all pro db! Less talk - more production. Will be curious how BJ and Dennis Allen handle cause this could be a test of leadership - but hopefully it’s nothing.

I think it is a good decision as he will only get better and if another team wants him, they will have to pay him AND give us a 2nd round pick.

A few players in FAgency I think we should look at that would add to the team, not top players. Dexter McCluster/RB/WR - I think he would add something to our offense we havent seen yet. Matt Shawnessey/DE-already mentioned by a member, think he is under the radar player that could help lots.Could be gotten instead of Wootton Desmon Bishop/MLB- talented player injured last year Cory Graham/CB- at 29 still has some life in him Malcom Jenkins- young and upcoming Garret Grahan/TE- would be a good complement to Bennett
