There are still teams desperate for a QB. Can we get some picks for him?

I imagine if Defense gives up two scores Jeffery will exit

Per ESPN Wow really out of it... sorry for the double post

I listen to the Score everyday during football season ,lots of football talk. Steve Rosenbloom repeated a great idea. Cant stand Rosenbloom or Bernstien , they both are arrogant, think there always right and negative Nellys. Trade Fields for Tomlin. (see Clab Williams thread). Its been suggested the owner wants a fresh start in Pittsburgh with a new coach. Tomlin has a great winning record but hasnt won a playoff gme since 2017. Tomlin is a coach Bears fans would love. Who knows if there is any legs to that rumor but its nice to think about.

So we have hired a new DL coach. Hes apparently had success with DLs everywhere hes gone. He teaches an attacking style, and was Jacksonville's DL coach last year, where he coached Travon Walker to a career high 10.5 sacks. Jacksonville's DC Ryan Neilson, was Dennis Allen's DL coach at New Orleans. I like pairing him with 69 year old Bill Johnson who is a defensive assistant, and was also a DL coach under Dennis Allen in New Orleans.

The first of the second rounders, that will all be signed by time players hit the field.

At the halfway point of the season, here are the top 5 and bottom 5 offensive and defensive players based on PFF Grades: Offense Top 5 (100 snaps): DJ Moore - 84.4 Khalil Herbert - 79.3 Teven Jenkins - 78.1 D'onta Foreman - 74.7 Justin Fields - 73.6 Offense Bottom 5 (100 snaps, worst first): Lucas Patrick - 44.1 Cody Whitehair - 45.1 Robert Tonyan - 46.5 Ja'Tyre Carter - 49.0 Larry Borom - 49.5 Defense Top 5 (100 snaps): Jaylon Johnson - 86.3 TJ Edwards - 81.0 Terell Smith - 70.6 Eddie Jackson - 67.1 Greg Stroman - 66.6 Defense Bottom 5 (100 snaps, worst …

Going into the final week of the regular season, we still have 9 teams vying for 6 playoff spots, a very competitive year. So far Run Dem Pockets (1), The Bunny (2), Corona Kings (3), and SAVAGEw/LOOSEMORALS! (4) have clinched a playoff berth. That leaves the following teams competing for the last two playoff spots in the final week of the regular season: 5. The Mad Lithuanians* (technically they are in barring some crazy scores since they have the Pts For Tie Breaker against any of the remaining teams) 6. MotM 7. PapaBear 8. Nopper 9. Nips&Tips Even though Victorious Secret has been eliminated, they are on a 2-game win streak, trying to end th…

Well known and highly regarded ESPN contributor Chris Mortensen passes at 72. As I travel with my 87 year old dad I’m reminded how important family and close friends are and how quick life changes. Take care of yourselves and cherish your loved ones. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/chris-mortensen-dies-at-72

Looks to be out for awhile or possibly the entire season. Crazy think players can get hurt outside of work and basically get workers comp. Good reason for a fire sale I guess. Clean house at deadline and reset for next year. Use this year for offensive development and to evaluate players.

Zach Zaidman ‏@ZachZaidman 2m #Bears announce they've signed DB Kelvin Hayden to a one-year deal. I remember bot being a fan of his a year ago, but he has had some "good years" in the past so he's a capable backup. CB depth- Jennings-?-Frey-Hayden.......Still need Tillman or his replacement, and Bowman would be nice as well.

Caleb Williams is now 70th on the Bears all-time passing list. He just passed the likes of Jason Campbell, Henry Burris, and Moses Moreno. Up next is passing Sweetness, Red Grange, and Doug Flutie. D'Andre Swift is 220th in rushing yards, and at his current yards per game, would only need 41 seasons of 17 games to surpass Walter Payton's 16,726 rushing yards. Swift would break the record when he is 67 and on his 16th contract extension with the Bears and Caleb Williams' grandson at QB. DJ Moore is now 52nd in receiving yards and is closing in on Anthony Miller and David Terrell on the all-time list. Cole Kmet is 17th in the franchise in receptions. He jus…
