Now I don't know if this is a team thing or just the website contributors, but if it is a team thing, then this would seem to support the notion that Forte will not be back. I have a bad feeling about this years draft. Maybe winning the GB & NO hurt us? I think most of us will be disappointed unless we either trade up or trade down. If we stay at 14, it would be a miracle to have Clady, Williams, or Mendenhall be there. Otah should be there, and I believe he'll be a great run blocking RT, but I'd rather go w/ a LT prospect. We can make Buffalo an offer to move up with our extra 3rd as I think they would be better off getting the extra pick and getting the guy they wanted at 14 all along. Bears signed Southern Illinois QB Nick Hill and Western Kentucky WR Curtis Hamilton. The Bills told Hill they'd take him with the No. 251 pick, but at the last minute went with CB Kennard Cox. Hill is a top-notch athlete and was an accurate passer at SIU. This is an ideal landing spot for the southpaw.

According to Adam Schefter of NFL Network, the Bears made their decision on Tuesday, and Kennedy is now a Jaguar. So much for no OC will want to work under a HC who might be on a hot seat. The Bears have 4 good names to interview. They all run a scheme similiar to what the Bears ran under Getsy. This tells me they do not want the team to go through another learning curve and it also helps JF case on being QB1 next year. What was feeling like 60 stay/40 out is not hovering 75 stay/25 out.
