The Bills are 1-4 and by all means already out of it. That being said I could see Buffalo trading T.O. for a 3rd or 4th round pick mid season. I mentioned it today with my buddy on the phone and sure enough ESPN Insider has mentioned this. ESPN Insider Thoughts? Would you consider it? T.O., Knox, Hester, Bennett with Forte, Olsen and Clark. Man, all I gotta say is that Lovie and his staff need to re-examine how they evaluate the talent they have in camp. A lot of us here recognized that FB Lusaka Polite was a hammer and yet we let him go despite him busting people up in preseason a few years ago. Last night, that guy was a beast. To me, it's nice to have the RBs that Miami does, but this guy Polite is a difference maker. He was leading the way on just about every run and screen, picked up countless blitzes, and when they needed a yard, this guy would get into his block and get + movement every time. The Jets are the only other unanimous pick to win. That means every other underdog received one vote. The odds makers are pretty good at the spread and they are actually saying the Bears are favorites on a neutral field (3 pts the normal home field advantage bonus). It is kind of funny to see their yearly records predicting the games. ESPN "experts" put CBS "experts" to shame.

Lovie Smith can say all he wants about how the Bears are a running football team that likes to pass. Oh really? I don't understand why the Bears think they have to be a running team when clearly their strength is in the passing game with Cutler and our receivers. Jim Miller brought this up last night on Bears Post Game Live and he had a great point. Why don't the Bears go with alot more empty sets? Put 5 receivers out there, spread the defense out and let Cutler do his thing. Sorry fellas, I need to vent a bit... This loss was a big one. It puts us in third in the division. Before I go into more detail, the loss is really on the entire organization top to bottom. I live here in Colorado and seen Cutler tear it up on the bootlegs with Denver. But we never run it. Every team we played (I've seen all games) runs it against us with success, until we slow or shut it down. But we don't want to run these type of plays because the other team might figure it out after we have success with it. That's the mentality of our coaches "Well we don't want to run it because they might figure it out after awhile". I am extremely happy with the development of our WRs. Hester, Bennett, and Knox have all stepped up big time. I do not see this as a need next yr. I would say FA and the draft should concentrate on: - Offensive line - Defensive backfield Get a top tier OL in FA and then draft best available of the 2 in the 3rd and 4th round. Peace
