The news is that we are trying to get one of them. Both have a big price tag and both would cost a draft pick. I would be good with either—but not at that cost. I really have no preference. I gotta admit that I was hoping for Marcus Marriota. But it looks like he’s signing with the Raiders.

Wow, shocked at this one. I didn't think he fit the mold they were looking for. A good pass catcher, but so-so blocker. Seems like an overpay after what Burton makes. $8M AAV for a soon to be 34 yr old TE? Hooper got $11M a year for 4 years. We save 3M but get a much older TE. Odd move for me.

I think it is a good decision as he will only get better and if another team wants him, they will have to pay him AND give us a 2nd round pick.

Huge payday and obviously way out of the Bears league in terms of cap space. I bet the Bears settle on someone like Keenum.

Fishburn and Durkin in the athletic had some interesting ideas. They say to sign Keenum, 1 yr 5 mil Golden, 1 yr 6 mil Trade the 4th pick to ravens for Hayden Hurst (the idea that he is 3rd string in Baltimore). Was a first round pick and has big upside at 3 mil. Kevin Johnson/ CB 2 yr 7 mil ( played well at buffalo last year) Halapoulicaati Vaitai OT 3 yr 24 mil. Backup at philly that would play RG this year and take a OT spot in future. Anybody know much about Vaitai?

2nd highest 4th round comp pick, not bad. Projections had us a few slots lower. So we have picks 43, 50, 140, 163, 196, 200, 226, and 233.

I think a speedy WR will be on Paces wish list. Many are in the draft, Ruggs, Mims, Hamler, Reagor, and Duvernsy. I think we'll draft one. There is also some options in free agency also. Travis Austin Marcus Johnson Breshad Perriman Paul Richardson None of these would be expensive additions.

Looking at this revised big board by Matt Miller I would gladly trade back both of our 2nd Rd picks or one to get 4 picks in top 100. I could be very happy with various combinations of players available between 50 and 100. Say Cleveland wants to get another early 2nd Rd pick at 43 (470pts) and gives us both of their 3rd Rd picks (220/140pts) plus their 4th Rd pick (70pts). We then have 50, 74, 90, and 112 plus our own 4th Rd pick at 144. Then HOU trades with us for 50 giving us 58 and 101. It's a bit in our favor but if they don't give 101 they could give 108. Now we have 58, 74, 90, 101, 112, 144 and further down we still have 163, 196, 200, 233. Fr…

Maybe I should setup a poll but I'm just curious if anyone else (besides me) would trade Cohen? He's not a RB and he's good as a slot WR but doesn't really offer the deep threat we need. He is one of the best PR in the league so that has value. It's a deep WR draft so I'm not sure any teams would bite but then again he's a proven commodity which is a big deal as compared to any day 3 draftee. I have two Rd 2 WRs I like: Jalen Reagor and now adding Brandon Aiyuk to my list. Both are very similar body types and similar athletes with speed to go the distance any time. More importantly both are good receivers. Either would really help open up our passing game.
